Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains.

it's funny how they hate the west and the u.s. in particular, but then come to us first when they get hungry. why don't they go to their fellow arab oil producing countries for the money?

the u.s. should play hardball with the aid v their support of the taliban. but knowing my gov the way i do, i wouldn't count on it.

btw, i read that saskatchewan is becoming a new alberta. it should do even better with the poor crop results that will be coming out of the u.s. midwest due to the flooding. higher commodity prices sure won't help those countries on the verge of starvation though...

Their fellow Arabs are also Muslim, who believe if you are suffering, it is simply Allah's will that you are suffering. No Christian charity with them. I agree with you on the Taliban. Only a matter of time before this region boils over.

Saskatchewan is booming; Alberta is still booming. Interestingly there are a lot of conservative Christians in these two provinces in particular. While the rest of Canada is predominantly atheist or lukewarm at best. God obviously knows how to bless His people even in the midst of rampant evil and self-indulgence. My wife and I are having a lot of trouble with the ungodliness we see every day where we live. Even the church has abandoned Christ for pop culture - IMHO. We're not claiming to be perfect, but we have a genuine, and I think healthy, fear of the Holy Lord of everything seen and unseen. There is so much disrespect towards God these days-it's frightening.

We feel somewhat how I think Noah and Lot must have felt just before the deluge and firestorm respectively. That's why I regularly state: "it can't be long". What God must think of all the gays and lesbians marrying in CA on the weekend. Hold onto your Bible, LS!

Hi Endtime,
I agree with you guys but would like to see the west hold the oil producing muslem countries to ransom by doubling all food and other commodities' prices until they reduce the oil price. Should be a fair reflection and a good yard stick on them but I doubt the west would have the courage to do it?

I'm not sure it's all about OPEC driving up the oil price. I think a lot of it is speculation that the 6-mile wide Strait of Hormuz may soon be clogged with shipwrecks from a war with Iran, causing 30% of the world's oil shipments to stop.

The perfect recipe for world war. The kind that the Bible talks about.
