In light of when we are living, time to post this again...

With all that is going on in Egypt, Syria, Iran, and the Gaza it is important to realize the significance of the time we're living in and not be distracted by the unimportant. We are in the very last days. In fact, Daniel's "time, times and half a time" prophesies have already been fulfilled. We are that close.

Israel's enemies are surrounding her, but she is far from forgotten by the God of Jacob/Israel. Expect amazing things directly ahead, and most importantly - prepare your hearts.

The Two Times + a Half

I never noticed this about Daniel's prophesies until I read it in Ellis Skolfield's book, but is it merely coincidental that there are exactly 2,500 years between Daniel's visions in Daniel 7:25 and Daniel 12:7, and Israel's rebirth as a nation in 1948, and Israel's conquering of Jerusalem in 1967??!! The number of years between when Daniel was given the visions, and the significant dates in Israel's history of 1948 and 1967 , is 2,500 years!! This is both amazing and embarrassing that 99.9% of modern evangelical Christians didn't pick this up. Daniel's "time, times and half a time" is not 3.5 years, it is describing 2.5 "times", or 2,500 years.

From the Tanach:
Daniel 12:7 - And I heard the man clad in linen, who was above the waters of the river, and he raised his right hand and his left hand to the heavens, and he swore by the Life of the world, that in the time of [two] times and a half, and when they have ended shattering the strength of the holy people, all these will end.
Daniel 12:
10 Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means.
Search it out for yourselves. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you discern this message:

Isaiah 18:
All you people of the world,
everyone who lives on the earth—
when I raise my battle flag on the mountain, look!
When I blow the ram’s horn, listen!
For the Lord has told me this:
I will watch quietly from my dwelling place—
as quietly as the heat rises on a summer day,
or as the morning dew forms during the harvest.
Even before you begin your attack,
while your plans are ripening like grapes,
the Lord will cut off your new growth with pruning shears.
He will snip off and discard your spreading branches.
Your mighty army will be left dead in the fields
for the mountain vultures and wild animals.
The vultures will tear at the corpses all summer.
The wild animals will gnaw at the bones all winter.
