Egypt Islamists hurriedly approve new constitution

Egypt Islamists hurriedly approve new constitution - Associated Press
"The Islamist-dominated assembly that has been working on the constitution for months raced to pass the charter, voting article by article on the draft's more than 230 articles for more than 16 hours. The lack of inclusion was on display in the nationally televised gathering: Of the 85 members in attendance, there was not a single Christian and only four women, all Islamists. Many of the men wore beards, the hallmark of Muslim conservatives."

Pro-Islamist Losing Grip on Republican Party

Pro-Islamist Losing Grip on Republican Party
Grover Norquist has venomous supporters
"Wolf mentioned Norquist’s “association and representation” of terrorist financier and vocal Hamas supporter Abdurahman Alamoudi and terrorist financier Sami Al-Arian."

“You can’t eat your cake and have it too”
If Grover Norquist is supported by terrorists, that would explain a lot. America has headed into a death spiral of excessive borrowing, borrowing 40% of its annual budget, and on top of those budgets, incurring trillion dollar deficits. Too much spending; too much borrowing; and too little tax revenue to support the binge. Grover Norquist's "no tax pledge" is not helping. This is equivalent to a fiscal EMP bomb. The terrorists (aka Islamists) are dismantling the US from within until it, and everything it stands for,  is destroyed.

Under this scenario, Islam plans to win: the US economy would take every other over-leveraged western economy down with it - and then what?

More Secret Nuclear Sites Discovered in Iran
If any of these allegations is even partially true, the whole timeline for Iran developing a nuclear weapon must be recalculated. The advent of a nuclear-armed Iran is much nearer than assumed by the Obama administration.

As Fatah fades, UN recognition of Palestine may eventually benefit Hamas

As Fatah fades, UN recognition of Palestine may eventually benefit Hamas: "All Abbas and his Fatah have to show for the many billions which world powers showered on them over the years to make the dream of a sustainable Palestinian state come true is a failed Palestinian entity ruled by a corrupt bureaucracy, with no standing in the Arab arena."

Pillar of Defense an anti-Iran operation

Iran is marching on

Iranian soldiers prep a new surface-to-air missile for launch in week-long war games this month.

Gaza war leaves Iran sitting pretty—John Bolton
"Despite media concentration on last week’s cease-fire, the real focal point is still the invisible Middle Eastern struggle for strategic advantage. There, Iran was already gaining ground, as the International Atomic Energy Agency reported on Nov. 16: Tehran’s extensive nuclear program continues its rapid progress, and it is still stonewalling IAEA inspectors. There is no doubt where Iran is headed."

If Iran's proxies in Gaza are willing to launch hundreds of missiles at Israeli civilians, imagine what Iran would do with long range nuclear weapons.

Explain the war in Gaza
"Why was there an Israel-Gaza war in the first place? Resistance to the occupation, say Hamas and many in the international media.

What occupation? Seven years ago, in front of the world, Israel pulled out of Gaza. It dismantled every settlement, withdrew every soldier, evacuated every Jew, leaving nothing and no one behind."

Middle East in high suspense for Gaza operation sequels
"Iran had been systematically building up the Gaza Strip as its “southern front” to fight enemies who attacked its nuclear facilities. The obliteration of a large portion of the military infrastructure Hamas and Jihad Islam had accumulated left this plan in shambles.

Joel 3:
“At the time of those events,” says the Lord,
“when I restore the prosperity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will gather the armies of the world
into the valley of Jehoshaphat.
There I will judge them
for harming my people, my special possession,
for scattering my people among the nations,
and for dividing up my land.

Makes a lot of sense for Israel to dismantle its southern threat and now focus on Lebanon (Hezb'allah) and also on to Syria, another one of Iran's close allies in the region. The Ayatollah and Ahmadinejad will not let Syria go to the West, or to Sunni's, without a fight - perhaps an "Ezekiel 38" type fight with the main objective to destroy their "great satan of the region" - Israel. We live in very interesting times.

When people are saying, "Everything is peaceful and secure," then disaster will fall on them as suddenly as a pregnant woman's labor pains begin. And there will be no escape.

The Rise of Islamists under Obama. America's been duped

Soldiers spell out critique of Netanyahu as a 'loser'

Soldiers spell out critique of Netanyahu as a 'loser' for not using ground forces in Gaza | The Times of Israel: "In Facebook pic that goes viral, 16 men arrange their bodies to show frustration at not going into battle"

Personally, I would not want to be an Israeli soldier fighting a ground war in Gaza. Call me a coward, but I'm just allergic to death right now. I think Israel had excellent intelligence for its air strikes, which were a success regardless of how Hamas is gloating. I'm sure Bibi wanted to avoid IDF casualties pre-election. After the election it will be a different story.

US warships head for Israel for possible evacuation of Americans
"This step negates the expectation articulated widely in Israel Monday, Nov. 19,  that a ceasefire with the Hamas is within reach. World interested in Israel

With all the wars going on in the world right now, it's interesting how the tiny sliver of land on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean is attracting so much attention.

Around the world, protests held for and against Israel’s Gaza operation
"The world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, runs 200 meters in under 20 seconds,” the message said. “If Usain is that far from a shelter when a rocket alarm sounds in southern Israel, he won’t make it to safety in time.

Enough is enough. Israel exercises its most fundamental duty as a nation to defend its people, and we are not going to apologize for that because this is what every other government and every other nation would do for its own citizens."

Video Shows Hamas Strategy
"Mainstream media has emphasized the number of alleged civilian deaths in Gaza the past several days, after believing and headlining a story that the visiting Egyptian prime minister kissed the head of a dead boy, allegedly killed by Israel.

Watchdog sites and Arutz Sheva exposed the fact that that the boy died after one of Hamas’ own rockets misfired and exploded in Gaza. The IDF also stated that there was no military activity in the area where the boy died."

Micah 4:

6 “In that coming day,” says the Lord,
“I will gather together those who are lame,
    those who have been exiles,
and those whom I have filled with grief.
7 Those who are weak will survive as a remnant;
those who were exiles will become a strong nation.
Then I, the Lord, will rule from Jerusalem
    as their king forever.”
8 As for you, Jerusalem,
    the citadel of God’s people,
your royal might and power
will come back to you again.
The kingship will be restored
    to my precious Jerusalem
...

11 Now many nations have gathered against you.
“Let her be desecrated,” they say.
“Let us see the destruction of Jerusalem.”
12 But they do not know the Lord’s thoughts
    or understand his plan.
These nations don’t know
that he is gathering them together
to be beaten and trampled
like sheaves of grain on a threshing floor.
13 “Rise up and crush the nations, O Jerusalem!”
    says the Lord.
“For I will give you iron horns and bronze hooves,
so you can trample many nations to pieces.
You will present their stolen riches to the Lord,
their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.”

Pay attention to Bible prophecy like never before

Israel’s Pillar of Defense
"It was no coincidence that the IDF chose the biblical term Amud Anan for the military operation that began on Wednesday with the targeted killing of Ahmed Jabari, the arch-terrorist who served as Hamas’s military chief.

It literally means “Pillar of Cloud,” but the army called it “Pillar of Defense” in English to convey the notion that Israel is simply exercising its right of self-defense."

Micah 5:

Then the remnant left in Israel
will take their place among the nations.
They will be like dew sent by the Lord
or like rain falling on the grass,
which no one can hold back
    and no one can restrain.
The remnant left in Israel
will take their place among the nations.
They will be like a lion among the animals of the forest,
like a strong young lion among flocks of sheep and goats,
pouncing and tearing as they go
    with no rescuer in sight.
The people of Israel will stand up to their foes,
and all their enemies will be wiped out.

Government raises military reserve call-up to 75,000
DEBKAfile November 16, 2012, 9:21 PM (GMT+02:00)
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz held an urgent conference Friday afternoon after Jerusalem and Tel Aviv came under Palestinian Hamas missile attack. They decided to expand the basis of the counter-missile Pillar of Cloud operation in the Gaza Strip and increase the number of reserve call-ups to 75,000 troops. Conscription orders continue to be issued.

Heaven forbid we should mention God is with us

Two Gaza rockets explode in Tel Aviv area. No casualties
"Israeli ground forces continue to build up on the Gaza border awaiting government orders to go in."

I've noticed how the mainstream media (even the IDF) is calling the impending ground operation in Gaza the : "pillar of defense", which makes absolutely no sense. More honest sources correctly use the Hebrew label of this upcoming operation as the 'pillar of cloud' referring directly to one of the manifestations of the presence of God to Israel, during their 40 year exodus in the desert. It's sad, but very telling, how most people go out of their way to not mention, or even hint at, the God of Israel. Understatement of the century - but are they ever going to be sadly surprised when the God of Israel intervenes directly against Israel's surrounding enemies. See verses from Ezekiel 38 that I posted yesterday. It's definitely coming!

Exodus 33:8-11

New Living Translation (NLT)
Whenever Moses went out to the Tent of Meeting, all the people would get up and stand in the entrances of their own tents. They would all watch Moses until he disappeared inside. As he went into the tent, the pillar of cloud would come down and hover at its entrance while the Lord spoke with Moses. 10 When the people saw the cloud standing at the entrance of the tent, they would stand and bow down in front of their own tents. 11 Inside the Tent of Meeting, the Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Afterward Moses would return to the camp, but the young man who assisted him, Joshua son of Nun, would remain behind in the Tent of Meeting.

War looms after Hamas rocket kills three Israelis | Reuters

Gaza rocket fired at Israel

Israeli airstrike
We live in a time when any one of these battles could break into the battle of Gog & Magog

War looms after Hamas rocket kills three Israelis
"A Hamas rocket killed three Israelis north of the Gaza Strip on Thursday, drawing the first blood from Israel as the Palestinian death toll rose to 13 and a military showdown lurched closer to all-out war"

...and how does Ezekiel 38 end?

“This is what the Sovereign Lord asks: Are you the one I was talking about long ago, when I announced through Israel’s prophets that in the future I would bring you against my people? 18 But this is what the Sovereign Lord says: When Gog invades the land of Israel, my fury will boil over! 19 In my jealousy and blazing anger, I promise a mighty shaking in the land of Israel on that day. 20 All living things—the fish in the sea, the birds of the sky, the animals of the field, the small animals that scurry along the ground, and all the people on earth—will quake in terror at my presence. Mountains will be thrown down; cliffs will crumble; walls will fall to the earth.
21 I will summon the sword against you on all the hills of Israel, says the Sovereign Lord. Your men will turn their swords against each other. 22 I will punish you and your armies with disease and bloodshed; I will send torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and burning sulfur! 23 In this way, I will show my greatness and holiness, and I will make myself known to all the nations of the world. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

Regardless of what modern eschatologists insist is true today - the battle of Gog & Magog is describing the ultimate 'end of the world'.

Palestinian people do not exist

Palestinian people do not exist
"Way back on March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. Here’s what he said:

The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct “Palestinian people” to oppose Zionism."

...on the same day Arafat signed the Declaration of Principles on the White House lawn in 1993, he explained his actions on Jordan TV. Here’s what he said: “Since we cannot defeat Israel in war, we do this in stages. We take any and every territory that we can of Palestine, and establish a sovereignty there, and we use it as a springboard to take more. When the time comes, we can get the Arab nations to join us for the final blow against Israel.”

The whole region is a powder keg, where any action could lead to Iran and its proxies attacking Israel in a Gog & Magog manner. We're getting very close.

Early Monday, Day 3 of the Palestinian missile offensive from Gaza, a Grad rocket wrecked a house in Netivot, causing 26 shock victims. Overnight, the Israeli Air Force struck three empty buildings in the Gaza Strip. Popular clamor is building up for the government to approve a major military operation against Palestinian terror from Gaza.

DEBKAfile November 7, 2012, 7:46 PM (GMT+02:00)
Fears of a recession caused by the “fiscal cliff” of $600 bn in tax hikes and spending cuts going into force on Jan. 1, set up jitters on Wall Street and European markets Wednesday after Barack Obama’s reelection was announced. Barack Obama wins reelection: Mid East faces nuclear Iran, Brotherhood grip
"Gilead offered a glimpse of a grimmer prospect which Israeli leaders are discussing behind close doors: They fear that the second Obama term will usher in a nuclear-armed Shiite Iran which will quickly reach out to the Sunni Muslim Brothers, starting with Egypt, for a joint bid to terminate the life of the Jewish state...

Netanyahu and most other Israeli leaders contest Obama's signature Middle East objective of bringing the Muslim Brotherhood to power in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya - and ultimately Syria - by presenting the MB as a moderate movement with whom America can do business and conduct a balanced Middle East policy."

For Obama and Netanyahu, four more years of mutual dislike and suspicion?
"...some pundits fear a reelected Obama will seek revenge on Netanyahu. Revenge for the obstinacy on the peace process, revenge for being too pushy on the Iranian question, revenge for openly challenging him during a heated election campaign — and revenge, of course, for Netanyahu’s alleged meddling in the US elections politics, by being overly warm to Mitt Romney."

I think Obama's win hastens the Day of the Lord. Sunni Muslim extremists will continue to thrive in the "Arab Spring" surrounding Israel. Iran will continue in their nuclear weapons quest unabated. Sunnis and Shiites will unite in their hatred of Israel. This sets the perfect stage for the Messiah's return. And no - I don't mean the 12th Imam al Mahdi.

Iran reportedly suspends uranium enrichment. Gesture to boost Obama’s reelection
"Iran managed to get its top-performance centrifuges hidden away in an almost impregnable “immune zone.”

Last April, Barak himself declared that the transfer of Iran’s nuclear program into “immune zones” would be a red line for Israel. Having made it nonetheless, Tehran is again sitting pretty and already naming a price - lifting of sanctions - for an unofficial and unverifiable claim to have halted 20-percent enrichment."
