An Eternal Perspective

The brevity of life is not the most serious consequence of death. More sobering still is what the Bible warns will follow: "after this the judgment" (Heb 9:27)
This excellent article by Dave Hunt of the Berean Call (a fellow accountant, I might add) is a call to keep priorities in order. Few things man worries about in this life will matter when he has to give an account for his life before the Lord Almighty, Maker of everything, seen and unseen.
Do things that have eternal significance. In our culture this requires a complete 180-degree mind-set reversal. Amen?
19"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.
