Turkey pulls the U.S. into a decision on Kurds
Ankara Postpones Reaction to Iraq-Based Militants Until After Meeting With Bush

Turkey hunts PKK rebels after Iraqi talks fail

This doesn't bode well for the U.S. or Iraq. As I've said about 50 times on this blog - everything within the boundaries of the ancient kingdom
of Babylon (not just the city of ancient Babylon - see Isaiah 13:5) is going to be utterly destroyed on, or just before, THE Day of the Lord. The Day of the Lord, as in the LAST DAY. Isaiah 13 talks about the Lord mustering an army "...from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens" (the U.S.? It isn't the Medes next door). I believe the first part of Isaiah 13 is talking about our present, and near future.

Put it this way, if Turkey goes to war against the PKK Kurds in northern Iraq, with it's 100,000+ troops and 'x' number of tanks poised on the border, and Iran steps up its attacks on U.S. troops in southern Iraq, and the U.S. looks like she's going to fly sorties from the Persian Gulf on Iran's nuclear facilities - WE'D ALL BETTER GET ON OUR KNEES QUICK AND PRAY Luke 21:36. Make sure you're saved, which is only possible through Christ, so that He will raise you up, dead or alive, on the last day. Yes, I said Last Day, the day when the last trumpet sounds and we true Christians are outta here. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52)

Keep your eyes wide, wide open! The Lord said He's coming back - and that 'ain't' no lie. We are living as in the days of Noah. The vast majority of people on earth do not honor the only, living God - the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel. 99.5% of people are completely oblivious to what the only God is accomplishing in our day - what a shame.

Isaiah 13: A Prophesy Against Babylon

5
They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens— the LORD and the weapons of his wrath— to destroy the whole country.

6 Wail, for the day of the LORD is near;
it will come like destruction from the Almighty.

7 Because of this, all hands will go limp, every man's heart will melt.

8 Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor. They will look aghast at each other, their faces aflame.

9 See, the day of the LORD is coming
—a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger—
to make the land desolate
and destroy the sinners within it.

10 The stars of heaven and their constellations will not show their light. The rising sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light.

11 I will punish the world for its evil, the wicked for their sins. I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty and will humble the pride of the ruthless.

12 I will make man scarcer than pure gold,
more rare than the gold of Ophir.

13 Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;
and the earth will shake from its place
at the wrath of the LORD Almighty,
in the day of his burning anger...

19 Babylon, the jewel of kingdoms,
the glory of the Babylonians' pride,
will be overthrown by God
like Sodom and Gomorrah.

20 She will never be inhabited or lived in through all generations; no Arab will pitch his tent there, no shepherd will rest his flocks there.

Another example of how bad things have gotten...this is from the AP:

Complaints about religious content have led to a ban on flag-folding recitations by Veterans Administration employees and volunteers at all national cemeteries.
At thousands of military burials, VA volunteers have folded the American flag 13 times and recited the significance of each fold to survivors. The 11th fold glorifies "the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.รข€ The 12th glorifies "God the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost."
Citing a need for uniformity, the National Cemetery Administration has prohibited unpaid VA volunteers as well as employees from conducting the recital at all 125 national cemeteries.
American Legion attorney Rees Lloyd calls it "another attempt by secularist fanatics to cleanse any reference to God."

When God is outlawed, only outlaws will have God.

Unfathomable jcchick23!

That move by the National Cemetery Administration has no wisdom at all.

Proverbs 9:10 Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in understanding.
Proverbs 9:11 Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life.
Proverbs 9:12 If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer. [emphasis mine]

Why has modern man become so stupid as to deny his Creator? Complete and utter foolishness...and complete and utter destruction follows.
