More examples of peace and tranquility in LBL territory:

Pakistan bomb horror overshadows Bhutto's return

Benazir Bhutto survived a suicide bomb attack that killed at least 136 people and injured 387 today. It is believed to be the deadliest bomb attack in Pakistan's history.

CNN
reports on this story Friday morning:
Officials said at least one bomb apparently had been placed in a car on the street where Bhutto's supporters had gathered to see her convoy pass. One witness told Rivers he saw a car with three people inside explode...Rivers said he and his crew, filming the convoy just before the blasts, remarked on the lack of security surrounding it. It was possible to walk right up to the side of her vehicle without being stopped, he said.

Some of my novice observations:
  • The Pakistani Information minister is quoted as saying Bhutto's convoy was "... surrounded by police and it was not possible for homicide bombers to get near it". A CNN reporter at the scene said it was possible to walk right up to Bhutto's car. So my question is: was Musharraf setting Bhutto up? (Something tells me Musharraf doesn't want to share power in January's elections -?)
  • I don't suspect things are going to get calmer in Pakistan with Bhutto's return. Keep a close eye on Pakistan because it has been infested by Islamic terrorists and, unlike Iran, it definitely has proven nuclear weapons. Two ingredients that could exponentially escalate tensions in the world and...oh ya, by the way... hasten the Gog & Magog War of Ezekiel 38. The war that I and many Messianic Jews also call "Armageddon".
  • I don't expect peaceful democracy to rule in Pakistan, the hotbed of Islamic terrorism including Bin Laden. Bhutto has said she wants to return the country to democracy, but I certainly wouldn't be so naive.
  • I hate to say it, but I don't expect former PM Benazir Bhutto to survive long in Pakistan. I'd highly recommend that she go back into exile because people don't rule in Pakistan anymore- evil spiritual principalities do (Revelation 13:4)

Tragic.. wow!
Ya.. something doesnt mesh there with those descriptions.
I remember reading something about Pakistan some time ago..
Seems that the Pentagon told them that they were going to let US guard their nukes.. and if Paki didn't want them there, then US would remove the nukes from Paki possession.
It wasn't a suggestion.
I don't trust them at all.. too many islamics.
