Obama sharpens tone with Israel, calls for two-state solution
Our political analysts do not expect Obama to be kind to the Jewish State and its new government. He may feel it necessary to respond to the Iranian supreme ruler Ali Khamenei's stipulation that change in Washington must also affect "unconditional US support" for Israel.

Netanyahu promises continued peace talks with the Palestinians

It's insulting to voters' intelligence for US presidents and world leaders to continue flogging a "two-state solution" within Israel. Literally billions of dollars have been poured on the "Palestinians", though much of it ended up in Arafat's Swiss bank accounts, and nothing has been accomplished toward peace. Sharon gave up Gaza in 2005, so in effect we have a trial "2-state solution" right now, but the "Palestinians" have failed miserably at governing Gaza. Their only interest is in eliminating the "monkeys and pigs" (their words) in the rest of Israel.

A 2-state solution will never fly and personally, I'm glad I serve a God who has this whole mess under control, under His righteous, omnipotent hand. Too bad our leaders' hearts are too hardened to listen where this will all ultimately end. In the meantime they're pretending to be wise and testing God's patience. They will accomplish nothing towards "peace in Palestine."
