Unbelievable stupidity or blindness...

15 out of 19, 9-11 hijackers were Saudi, Osama Bin Laden is Saudi, and Bush decides to massively arm Saudi Arabia:

America Refurbishes its Gulf-Red Sea Defenses against Iran Menace
"The US would double in size the armies and air forces of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman, and augment its military facilities in the Gulf region by expansion and new bases."

I wish Mr. Bush would "grab a clue" that the weapons he's selling to the Arabs (including the weapons to Abbas' Fatah in the West Bank) WILL be used against Israel in their next (possibly last?) war. Believe me, Mr.Bush does not want to be on the wrong side of an Arab war against Israel; her primary weapon being none other than "the Creator of everything our created eyes can and cannot see." The Ishmaelites have NO CHANCE, so why is Bush betting on a lame horse, so to speak? President Bush needs some good spiritual guidance, which he desperately needs to listen to - ASAP!

Zechariah 14:

3 Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. 5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake [a] in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

6 On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost. 7 It will be a unique day, without daytime or nighttime—a day known to the LORD. When evening comes, there will be light.

8 On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea [b] and half to the western sea, [c] in summer and in winter.

9 The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name. [and "His name" will not be Allah, I guarantee you that!]

Hi Endtime- I agree that there is so much going on in the Gulf that we have noooo idea what is really happening. As far as US policy regaurding Israel- it almost seems that Bush is blind, or being blinded By G_d. Either way His purpose will be fulfilled!

I always pray that G_d will recognize me on that day.......

Hi End times,
Your thoughts echo my own. I believe Bush is being lead to believe that Saudi is not a threat and that by providing greater power to Saudi/Jordan/Israel he is balancing the threat posed by Iran/Syria/Russia.

Unfortuantely he is wrong. The evil alliance will use Syria and the Iranian proxies to attack Israel this summer in a ballistic Missle attack launched from deep inside Syria and the Palastinian teritories. When Israel destroys Damascus and the Gaza strip, as the Bible predicts, Muslims will be out raged and all those weapons sold to Saudi and Jordan will be turned upon Gods chosen people.

I believe it will be at the that time that GREAT calamity will begin. Destruction by meteors, Super volcano eruptions, disease, pestalance and finally the battle of all battles.

While written about the fall of Babelon, it is fitting as well for our time:

Isaiah 47:10-12 (New International Version)

10 You have trusted in your wickedness and have said, 'No one sees me.' Your wisdom and knowledge mislead you when you say to yourself, 'I am, and there is none besides me.'

11 Disaster will come upon you,
and you will not know how to conjure it away. A calamity will fall upon you that you cannot ward off with a ransom; a catastrophe you cannot foresee will suddenly come upon you.

12 "Keep on, then, with your magic spells and with your many sorceries, which you have labored at since childhood.
Perhaps you will succeed, perhaps you will cause terror.

Some kind of Arab-Israeli major conflict is in the not too distant future. We have to keep in mind that it's still 40 years (1 generation) post 1967, when Israel ceased the trampling of Jerusalem by Gentiles.

I'm finding it very difficult to live in today, without being totally overwhelmed by thinking about the future. Praise the Lord we have a fantastic future.
