No end in sight to China floods after hundreds die
Authorities are on the alert for more floods and landslides as fresh storms are expected.

Israel, Syria boost military presence along their border
As I've been ranting for a while, I'm becoming even more convinced that this whole thing will ignite starting with the Golan.

Humans to blame for global changes in rain - study
The scientists have conclusively proven that the "human footprint" is responsible for the changing precipitation patterns (i.e. floods) over the last century. I've got news for these "oh so smart" guys:

5But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
2 Peter 3:5-7

So don't waste time worrying too much about "the human footprint" on Mother Earth. God has already predetermined that the earth will last long enough for it, and the heavens, to be destroyed by fire on the day of judgment of all ungodly men.

Wouldn't it be a whole lot smarter to concentrate instead on not being counted as one of the ungodly? As humbling as it would be - most people need to learn to worship the Creator; not His temporal creation.

I am glad to see there is a blog that looks at today's events from the prospective of Ellis Skolfied's works. Keep it up. (I just finished Skolfield's 'False Prophet' about 2 weeks ago and will probably attempt a second read in the near future.) Do you know if there are other authors who have written along these same lines? Any idea if Skolfield is still alive and if so how to e-mail him?

I don't think there are ANY other authors who take as fresh a look at what scripture actually says about prophesy like Skolfield. All else that I've read is a stale rehash that requires very little insight, but I guess you have to preach to what the masses accept in order to make money in this business, in this lost age. I can't believe that more people don't flock to Skolfield's findings. There are too many dates that line up too perfectly with scripture to be mere coincidence.

Last I heard Skolfield is still living down in Florida, but by this time I believe he's into his 80's. I've traded emails with him a couple of times by going through his website. Menu = "Ask Our Author", or alternatively his email address is:

infoATellisskolfield.com - replace the AT with @

God bless your second reading of The False Prophet - I think Mr.Skolfield's findings are completely amazing and they testify to the greatness and impeccable timing of our God. His findings also testify to Skolfield's conscientious study of the Bible. You can tell he loves the Bible because he's able to glean what very few others have even begun to see.
