Greenspan: 'I made a mistake'

By year end, 1/3 of all homes for sale in the US will be foreclosures
Nearly 12 million of the 52 million Americans with a mortgage — that's 23 percent of them — owe more on their mortgages than their homes are worth, according to Moody's Economy.com.

Some people got incredibly rich prior to this mortgage crisis, encouraging others to live way beyond their means.

Proverbs 23:
4 Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich.
Be wise enough to know when to quit.
5 In the blink of an eye wealth disappears,
for it will sprout wings
and fly away like an eagle.

1 Timothy:
9 But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction...

17
Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.

Hi ET,

Just read the article about OPEC wanting to cut oil production because they are not happy with the price. Now my question is the EU slapped a 3.9 billion rand fine on SASOL, a South African petro company for colluding with other companies on fixing the price on paraffin in Europe, what the hell is OPEC doing?? Are there 2 standards or what?

Have a great weekend with Christ

Simple answer: 'Yes'.

I'm not an expert in the paraffin market, but I'm guessing OPEC has got a tighter monopoly on a more widely used commodity, than SASOL has with kerosine, hence the double standard.

Have a great weekend as well.
