Very tragic story which is written off by secular society as simply a "mental health issue". This highly successful man (by this world's standards) butchered his family and a tenant with a knife, completely unexpectedly. He then killed himself with the knife - think about how deranged (or I should say "possessed") you have to be to do that!

If Joshua Lall said he felt possessed by the devil, I choose to literally believe him. This secular world completely misses the entire spiritual dimension that the Bible so clearly talks about. That dimension can't be conquered by mental health counseling, a drug regimen, or anything else other than Christ who defeated all evil principalities through his death on the cross.

The solution to these spiritual battles against satan's demons has been known for 2,000 years, but sadly the majority of people alive today completely miss the whole point of what Christ did for them, even denying that he ever existed.

One story that's almost on the right track, but still miles away...

Mental illness alone can’t explain murder-suicides: experts National Post, Canada

1 John 4:
4 But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. 5 Those people belong to this world, so they speak from the world’s viewpoint, and the world listens to them. 6 But we belong to God, and those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.

John 10:
25 Jesus replied, “I have already told you, and you don’t believe me. The proof is the work I do in my Father’s name. 26 But you don’t believe me because you are not my sheep. 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, 29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”
