Amazing Chapter
(Too bad too few see what's happening)

Zechariah 9:

Zec 9:1 This is the message[fn1] from the Lord against the land of Aram[fn2] and the city of Damascus, for the eyes of all humanity, including the people of Israel, are on the Lord.
Zec 9:2 Doom is certain for Hamath, near Damascus, and for the cities of Tyre and Sidon, too, though they are so clever.
Zec 9:3 Tyre has built a strong fortress and has piled up so much silver and gold that it is as common as dust in the streets!
Zec 9:4 But now the Lord will strip away Tyre's possessions and hurl its fortifications into the Mediterranean Sea.[fn3] Tyre will be set on fire and burned to the ground.
Zec 9:5 The city of Ashkelon will see Tyre fall and will be filled with fear. Gaza will shake with terror, and so will Ekron, for their hopes will be dashed. Gaza will be conquered and its king killed, and Ashkelon will be completely deserted.
Zec 9:6 Foreigners will occupy the city of Ashdod. Thus, I will destroy the pride of the Philistines.
Zec 9:7 They will no longer eat meat with blood in it or feed on other forbidden foods. All the surviving Philistines will worship our God and be adopted as a new clan in Judah.[fn4] And the Philistines of Ekron will join my people, just as the Jebusites once did.
Zec 9:8 I will guard my Temple and protect it from invading armies. I am closely watching their movements. No foreign oppressor will ever again overrun my people's land.
Zec 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O people[fn5] of Zion! Shout in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is humble, riding on a donkey-even on a donkey's colt.
Zec 9:10 I will remove the battle chariots from Israel[fn6] and the warhorses from Jerusalem, and I will destroy all the weapons used in battle. Your king will bring peace to the nations. His realm will stretch from sea to sea and from the Euphrates River[fn7] to the ends of the earth.[fn8]
Zec 9:11 Because of the covenant I made with you, sealed with blood, I will free your prisoners from death in a waterless dungeon.
Zec 9:12 Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners, for there is yet hope! I promise this very day that I will repay you two mercies for each of your woes!
Zec 9:13 Judah is my bow, and Israel is my arrow! Jerusalem[fn9] is my sword, and like a warrior, I will brandish it against the Greeks.[fn10]
Zec 9:14 The Lord will appear above his people; his arrows will fly like lightning! The Sovereign Lord will sound the trumpet; he will go out against his enemies like a whirlwind from the southern desert.
Zec 9:15 The Lord Almighty will protect his people, and they will subdue their enemies with sling stones. They will shout in battle as though drunk with wine, shedding the blood of their enemies. They will be filled with blood like a bowl, drenched with blood like the corners of the altar.
Zec 9:16 When that day arrives, the Lord their God will rescue his people, just as a shepherd rescues his sheep. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown.
Zec 9:17 How wonderful and beautiful they will be! The young men and women will thrive on the abundance of grain and new wine.

Haram, Damascus, Hamath, Tyre, Sidon, Gaza, etc. are all areas supposedly threatening Israel today. I find it comical when, on Israel 60th anniversary of her re-gathering, the media wonders whether Israel will survive. Israel will not only "survive"; she will thrive into all eternity.

Her neighbors on the other hand are doomed, with exception of Zechariah 9:7 (interestingly enough).

God has made this known to us thousands of years ago. There will be no excuse for unbelief.

Romans 1:
18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness.[a] 19 They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. 20 For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.
21 Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused.

Isaiah 46:
8 “Do not forget this! Keep it in mind!
Remember this, you guilty ones.
9 Remember the things I have done in the past.
For I alone am God!
I am God, and there is none like me.
10 Only I can tell you the future
before it even happens.
Everything I plan will come to pass,
for I do whatever I wish.
