An Obama-nation
Obama's chumming it up with the Turks, forgetting the recent past

"Fraternizing with them on any other terms creates a suspicion of sordidness or even complicity." - JAMES W. GERARD

Obama's tip-toeing around the Muslims again. This time calling the systematic slaughter of 1.5 million Christians by Muslims an atrocity... (but let's be best bud's with them. I can only imagine what he's saying to Ahmadinejad behind closed doors).

"Best President ever"? PUHLEEEZ!!

Obama brands Armenian slaughter: "great atrocities"
President Barack Obama on Friday refrained from branding the massacre of an estimated 1.5 million (Christian) Armenians (by Muslims) in Turkey a "genocide," breaking a campaign promise while contending his views about the 20th century slaughter had not changed.

Foreword to George Horton's book The Blight of Asia...

HERE at last is the truth about the destruction of Smyrna and the massacre of a large part of its Inhabitants by one who was present. The writer of the following pages is a man, happily, who is not restrained from telling what he knows by political reasons or by any consideration of fear or self-interest. He gives the whole story of the savage extermination of Christian civilization throughout the length and breadth of the old Byzantine Empire in a clear and convincing manner

That it should have been possible twenty centuries after the birth of Christ for a small and backward nation, like the Turks, to have committed such crimes against civilization and the progress of the world, is a matter which should cause all conscientious people to pause and think; yet the writer shows conclusively that these crimes have been committed without opposition on the part of any Christian nation and that the last frightful scene at Smyrna was enacted within a few yards of powerful Allied and American battle fleet.

We turned a deaf ear to the dying Christians, when they called to us for aid, fully aware that America was their only hope, and now it would appear that there is a growing tendency in this country to whitewash the Turks and condone their crimes in order to obtain material advantages from them.

The author takes the position that this can not be done, as the Turks have put so great an affront upon humanity that it can not easily be overlooked, and the truth is sure to come out. He claims that high ideals are more than oil or railroads, and that the Turks should not be accepted into the society of decent nations until they show sincere repentance for their crimes.

Fraternizing with them on any other terms creates a suspicion of sordidness or even complicity. From the outspoken nature of this book it will be evident to the reader that the writing of it has required considerable courage and that it has been inspired by no other possible motive than a desire to make the truth known about matters which it is important for the world to know.

The Blight of Asia, quote:
I have just listened to the contents of a letter sent by one of our boys on an American destroyer at Smyrna. He tells of having to stand by while the brutal Turkish soldiers seized beautiful Christian girls and tore them screaming from their mothers and outraged them right on the public quay of Smyrna. He saw these brutal soldiers shooting down helpless women with children in their arms, unarmed men beaten to death by the butts of these Turkish soldiery. And then he tells of the anguish that he felt because the orders of our government were such that he had to stand by, helpless, before such atrocities.

After a period of beatings and deaths, the genocide began on April 23, 1915 with the rounding up and murder of thousands of Armenian community leaders. Systematic mass murder followed throughout Turkey. Men and women were often separated and the men murdered immediately or sent to death camps, such as those at Ras-Ul-Ain and Deir-el-Zor. Those who survived the sadistic deportations were forced into permanent exile. Armenian churches, monuments, quarters, and towns were destroyed in the process. Some Armenians were burned alive in their places of worship. One survivor from the town of Marash later told his tale to a U.S. oral-history archive: "Some 2000 Armenians had gathered, whom the Turks surrounded and poured gasoline all around and set them on fire. I, myself, was in another church that they were trying to set on fire and my father was thinking that this was the end of the family. He just gathered us around and pulled the movable pews around us as if he were trying to protect us and said something I will never forget: 'Don't be afraid, my children, because soon we will all be in heaven together.'

Revelation 2
:

8 “Write this letter to the angel of the church in Smyrna. This is the message from the one who is the First and the Last, who was dead but is now alive:
...

10
Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer. The devil will throw some of you into prison to test you. You will suffer for ten days. But if you remain faithful even when facing death, I will give you the crown of life.

If DEBKAfile is right about this, we just about had a major (the major?) war ignite. Instead, I believe, God's given man a little more time to repent...

Iran canceled air show when Russia warned Israel planned to destroy all 140 warplanes
A similar operation wiped out the entire Egyptian air fleet in the early hours of the 1967 war.

Israel shocked by Obama's approval of large Turkish arms sale to Lebanon
DEBKAfile quotes senior Israeli military circles as staggered by the discovery that US president Barack Obama had approved a large Turkish arms sale to the Lebanese army, half of whose manpower are Shiites loyal to Hizballah.

Joel 3:
9
Say to the nations far and wide: “Get ready for war! Call out your best warriors. Let all your fighting men advance for the attack. 10 Hammer your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Train even your weaklings to be warriors. 11 Come quickly, all you nations everywhere. Gather together in the valley.”

I see something really really wicked in this Obama character but apparently the rest of the United States loves him. I'm just waiting and watching it all unfold almost as if it was planned out a long time ago. Everything he stands for is so very very wrong in my book at least. But most don't see it. I can't for the life of me understand what is going on anymore in this country. Each person I speak with loves this guy. It's like he has a spell on them. I don't know anymore. And for the life of me I can't understand how he can pick the people he picks for these special spots in his administration. Each and every one of them and I mean each one of them has some sort of militant anti-american God hating way about them yet no one sees this...no one. Well maybe one or two. But that's not very many. And he has only been in office 3 or so months and each day it gets worse and worse. I don't know anymore...I really don't. Ok I do know God is in control and that gives me the only comfort left. God Bless you,
Kelly

I understand you completely, Kelly. I saw headlines yesterday about how Obama is the "Best President Ever" ??? Isn't it a little early to be labeling him like that after only 100 days?! After all, all Obama's done so far is move in a Godless direction, against Israel, and spend hundreds of billions of dollars America doesn't have. Anybody can do that.

He does have a great smile though- I'll give him that. But I've always been suspicious of politicians with a great smile (i.e. watch the knife coming from behind).

Don't worry, Kelly. These "wise" leaders" are just pawns in the Father's hands. He is in complete control. Ultimately we've got no worries, assured of what we're promised.

Sorry about the 'comment moderation'. I've turned it off, for now. I was getting some 'unwanted mail' in recent past.
