Go away for a long weekend and look what happens.

In Georgia, Russia sends message Israeli, US influence will not be tolerated
5 Aircraft carriers headed for the Persian Gulf, Russian aircraft carrier off the shores of Lebanon.

I don't care what Obama wants to negotiate with Ahmadinejad - the world's going to war.

Arab world fears an Iran war may be pending
After their meeting Saturday, the spokesman of the presidential palace in Cairo, Suleiman Awwad, said: Iran should not present on a silver platter the “justifications and pretexts for those [US and Israel] who want to drag the region down a dangerous slope.”

This warning was interpreted by the London Arabic daily Al Quds as a warning to Tehran that an attack is impending by the US, some European nations and Israel.

Hey ET. Here is a brilliant article that says it all. And folks wonder how the US could not be mentioned in the Bible during the last days......

Insightful article. The U.S. has disappointed Georgia no doubt. Unfortunately I don't think the U.S. has the wherewithal to fight on a third front (the whole 'politically correct war' idea mentioned). Though Iran is a possibility. If they go into Iran in the next months, for sure they can't afford to go into Georgia against Russia (although they may end up fighting against Russia either way).

Very interesting how the whole region is heating up. I'm betting on a major conflict coming soon. There is just too much military armed and ready in the Middle East
