PA urges Palestinians to "return" to Israel on 60th anniversary
The Palestinian Authority is planning to mark Israel's 60th anniversary by calling on all Palestinians living abroad to converge on Israel by land, sea and air.

Bear Stearns forced to sell at $2/share
The price represents a startling 93 percent discount to Bear Stearns' closing stock price on Friday on the New York Stock Exchange.

U.S. stock futures slump on Bear Stearns, Fed action
U.S. stock futures slumped on Monday, with the credit crunch claiming the independence of 85-year-old Bear Stearns and prompting the Federal Reserve to take emergency action only two days before a scheduled meeting.
