Rice urges effort to ensure 'sustantive' Mideast summit
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice urged Israelis and Palestinians on Thursday to hold serious talks on creating a Palestinian state, insisting a looming peace summit be meaningful.

Would Israel give up some of Jerusalem?
(CBS/AP) Israel should turn over Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem to the Palestinians as part of a peace deal with the moderate government of President Mahmoud Abbas, Israel's deputy prime minister said Friday in some of the frankest remarks to date about what Israel might be willing to relinquish.

Ramon, a close ally of Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, said keeping all of Jerusalem would endanger the city's future as Israel's capital and suggested that many Arab sections be turned over to Palestinian sovereignty in return for international recognition of the Jewish neighborhoods Israel has built in east Jerusalem since 1967.

For those who have read Ellis Skolfield's The False Prophet, you know that the trampling of the Gentiles on Jerusalem was done after the 6-day war in June, 1967. My question is this: will God allow parts of Jerusalem to be returned to Gentile rule, which may be proposed in this upcoming November peace conference? What do you think? Please leave a comment - thanks.

Ellis Skolfield's contention - What's so special about 1967, you ask?

They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
Luke 21:24
