What a difference 5 years make: Obama braves blistering Berlin heat to make speech before invite-only crowd of 4,500 (that's 195,500 FEWER than last time he was in Germany) and behind two-inch thick, bullet-proof glass, not to mention the security gates and walls corralling the the "crowd" of 4,500.

Looking at Obama's speech at the Brandenburg gate, I'd say we sadly, ironically have new walls - security walls between the common people and their leaders, leaders have to make speeches within a bullet-proof "fish bowl", and now the leaders are endorsing mass spying on everyday communications (i.e. NSA, et al). Yep, still have no shortage of walls.
