I know this: eventually the Leopard-Bear-Lion beast of Islam will call the world to one final war. With the way things are going with Iran, North Korea, Syria, etc; and given the fact that Israel was only recently re-established on one day on May 14, 1948 - fulfilling the prophecy in Isaiah 66:8 - this could easily be soon. We are only one strategically placed nuclear explosion away from the world being called to a final war, and the following prophecy being fulfilled:
Revelation 16:
13Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon [satan], out of the mouth of the [LBL] beast [of Daniel 7 and Revelation 13] and out of the mouth of the false prophet [who's the most popular false prophet out there!? Answer: Mohammad and his 1.3 billion deceived followers]. 14They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.
15"Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed." [verse 15 seems out of context, 'out of place' - but I think Christ's coming is perfectly placed right here before vs.16's word "Then"]
16Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
