Egyptians break into Israeli Embassy in Cairo
Israel ambassador and 80 embassy staff flee Egypt. Turkey's Erdogan has threatened to provide warship escort for the next Gaza aid ships, although he's tried to temper his statements recently.

Interestingly, just last Tuesday Israel's government gave the following statement:

"Israel's security situation has never been better," "We have deterrence in the north and the south, the Arab regimes around us are stable"
