Huh?
In Syria, Iranian president disparages U.S. peace efforts in Mideast
"DAMASCUS, SYRIA - Iran's president said Saturday that Middle Eastern countries will 'disrupt' U.S. and Israeli plans for the region, appearing to dismiss U.S. efforts to forge a regional peace deal between Israel and its Palestinian neighbors. "

DEBKAfile has got the details: Al Qaeda threat to murder Pope foiled in London
"The reports indicate that the five Algerians reached their London rendezvous overnight to prepare for their operation - apparently to assassinate the pope. There, they may have been given their weapons or explosives. The UK Counter-Terror Command appears to have acted in the nick of time to prevent the attack shortly after receiving intelligence."

London protesters of "north African" descent

I find it laughable how the media has gone way out of its way to refer to the six individuals as "North African" or "Algerian". Instead they should just refer to their prime motivator in allegedly taking down the Pope and call them as they are - Muslim.

Good article -->All’s not fair in criticizing religions
"Unlike probably 90 per cent of everyone who weighed in on Pastor Terry Jones’ infamous Koran burning episode, I took the time to pause and actually listen to what the man had to say.

Think about this: since the start of the year, some two dozen Christian houses of worship have been burned to the ground in Muslim countries, along with thousands of Bibles and Christian literature. Not only churches are targeted, but farm equipment belonging to Christian aid projects in Muslim countries, and health clinics run by Christian doctors and nurses.

In other Muslim countries, homes and businesses owned by Christians are routinely targeted by arsonists acting with the protection of local authorities.
