Isaiah 14:
¹ But the Lord will have mercy on the descendants of Jacob. He will choose Israel as his special people once again. He will bring them back to settle once again in their own land. And people from many different nations will come and join them there and unite with the people of Israel. ² The nations of the world will help the Lord’s people to return, and those who come to live in their land will serve them. Those who captured Israel will themselves be captured, and Israel will rule over its enemies.

When did God "... bring them back to settle once again in their own land?" That is described in Isaiah 66:8...

⁸ Who has ever heard of such a thing?
Who has ever seen such things?
Can a country be born in a day [Israel Independence Day, May 14, 1948]
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor [reference to the Holocaust]
than she gives birth to her children.

⁹ Do I bring to the moment of birth
and not give delivery?" says the LORD. [God is about to completely deliver Israel from her enemies]
"Do I close up the womb
when I bring to delivery?" says your God.

¹⁰ "Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her,
all you who love her;
rejoice greatly with her,
all you who mourn over her.

Gates: Iran could attack Europe with scores or hundreds of missiles
While referring to NATO allies, Gates did not mention Israel, which is located still closer to those missiles and far more prey to the devastation promised by Tehran.

Revelation 16:
¹³ And I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon [satan], the [Rev 13:2 LBL] beast, and the false prophet [Mohammad]. ¹⁴ They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.

¹⁵ “Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed.”

¹⁶ And the demonic spirits gathered all the rulers and their armies to a place with the Hebrew name Armageddon.
