How does a medical doctor, with everything going for him in this life, become an agent for the LBL beast and blow himself and others up? Only through evil spiritual possession does one do that.

I have little doubt this earth is heading for a dismal end. The 'trick' is to know the jumping off point - faith in Jesus Christ.
People are only becoming more sinful and vile and a stench to their Creator, whom most refuse to recognize. Of course, with this attitude, they are going to pay the price. Earth is going to continue to wilt with this much sin in it. BUT, I'm fully confident that through accepting Christ's sacrifice we are safe no matter what. It sounds cliche'ish and perhaps weak, but that's the only way out of the mess man has created.
I'm not going to being making "a small investment in potassium iodide tablets" any time soon. What are we clinging to? This earth? Not coincidentally, I was reading this last night before bed:
