there's a prediction about israel in there.
i think that if we are not in ent times, this election will probably be bad, but in a jimmy carter sort of way. but if we are in end times, i really fear for america w/ "the messiah" as pres.
Actually I was more into the American election than my country's election. Canada's election was a foregone conclusion, and consequently a waste of time and money.
Whether it was going to be McCain or Obama, the world's problems are WAY bigger than one man can influence. I can't wait to watch Obama go for tea and cookies with Ahmadinejad - what a farce.
The world is gushing over the election of Obama today, which is really wierd (almost cult-like) since all Barack has done so far is make rhetorical promises of "change". It's bordering on sad really because all their hope seems dependent on Obama's success.
Best of luck because,as I've said before last night's results, the next president may very well go down in history as a "depression president". The economy world-wide still stinks, Iran is still dashing for nukes, and Putin and Medvedev are planting missiles in Kaliningrad as I type (on the door step of Europe). I wouldn't wish this presidential term on my worst enemy, so to speak.
It's interesting to note the Jews that were elected but I can't see it making any difference. I think that Christians are in big trouble now.
It looks like all the Pro Life laws will be signed out of existence when Obama get's in. He even said so much by saying if one of His daughters ever got pregnant He wouldn't want a BABY to ruin there life. Notice He didn't say fetus like the Planned Parents always say, But baby!!
Also the Democrat call Talk Radio as bad as Pornography and will have to have the Fairness Doctrine restarted again. Even though the Dems. have never done a thing to stop Pornography they will do what ever to stop conservative radio which would also include most Christian radio as will. You can't even mention Homosexuality in Canada with out going to jail. Now that may be coming to the USA.
Even so come, Lord Jesus, our only real hope in this sin sick world!!!
Sin sick world is right, Tom! But we can take comfort that the moral decay in these last days was predicted long, long ago.
2 Timothy 3: 1 You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!
Just remember we Christians have a fantastic hope (which is really a major understatement) which will be realized very soon. Things are rapidly moving to the very end, and I'm afraid most people, including people I see in church, are going to be surprised when Christ does come.
Let's not be part of the Revelation 3 Laodicean church when Christ returns.
