Ezekiel 38: The showdown between Iran and Israel

US sending aircraft carrier back to Persian Gulf four months early
"The US is deploying a large aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf, the Department of Defense confirmed Thursday, cutting short leave for thousands of soldiers to send them back to the Middle East ahead of schedule."

Iran expands nuclear capacity underground: sources
"Iran has installed many more uranium enrichment machines in an underground bunker, diplomatic sources said on Thursday"

Although the Middle East situation looks daunting and hopeless for Israel, have no doubt that this is where it's going:

Isaiah 14:
The Lord will have compassion on Jacob;
once again he will choose Israel
and will settle them in their own land.

(as I've said many times on this blog: effective May 14, 1948)
Foreigners will join them
and unite with the descendants of Jacob.
Nations will take them
and bring them to their own place.
And Israel will take possession of the nations
and make them male and female servants in the Lord’s land.
They will make captives of their captors
    and rule over their oppressors.

One of Daniel's time, times and half a time prophesies was fulfilled in 1948. Time, times and half a time equals 2,500 years. The Tanach says this idiom is translated "two times and a half", not 'three and a half' like today's false prophets insist.

The second "time, times and half a time" prophecy was fulfilled when Israel re-captured Jerusalem at the end the of the Six Day War in 1967. The fact that Daniel's prophecies were received exactly 2,500 years before these very significant events testifies to the validity of this prophetic interpretation. Don't be fooled by what today's "prophecy experts" are saying. What they are saying has little Biblical support. It is statistically irresponsible to deny the validity of this interpretation of Daniel's prophesies, given that both of his "times prophesies", when interpreted as equalling 2,500 years, point to new Israel in 1948 and 1967.

Thank you Ellis Skolfield for pointing this out. Your interpretations of scripture are wildly unpopular in today's Laodicean church, but nonetheless they are Spirit-inspired, as is evidenced by the fulfillment of two of Daniel's prophecies in our time, in our generation.

Why does this matter?  Soon it will be Judgement Day. It proves that end time prophesy has already been fulfilled, and therefore highlights the fact that we live in a very significant time; the time of the end, and with what is going on in Iran, I'd make doubly sure that your heart is right with the future Messiah of Israel - Jesus - who we will all soon meet. We're living at the end of this age when the natural and supernatural collide, when the created (once again) meets the Creator - the God of Israel. Matthew 24:

30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree (Israel and Judah): As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out (happened in our time!), you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

You blame anyone for wanting to protect themselves? Isis-Ra-El worship the Jehovah, very much different from the Christ my friend. Do your research. Islam and CHRISTianity have much more in common than the Jehovah worshipping Israelites. Christ liberated us from that nephilim worshipping cult.

No, I don't think so. See Romans chapter 11, and I'm thoroughly convinced that Christ and Islam are completely opposed to each other.

Read the inscriptions inside the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount. It is obvious that Christ and Islam are at war with each other. Why else would radical Muslims be destroying multiple Coptic churches in Egypt today?

Israel will eventually recognize Christ as her Messiah when He soon returns to save them from attacking Muslim enemies.

Thanks for the comment. While it is unclear in the least how islam figures at all out of Romans 11, it is interesting. Please explain - is this prophecy from Paul then the rationale for Christianity supporting a modern Judaism that they truly know very little about?

Any Christian who looks to the Talmud realized how anti-Christian Judaism is.
