Iran has a stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz - pathway for 40% of the world's oil. Somalian pirates  regularly raid cargo ships within the Gulf of Aden. Islam's most populous nation, Indonesia, has a stranglehold on the Strait of Malacca. I don't necessarily agree with much on the Tomorrow's World website, however the following article, written in 1999, is an eye-opener in light of the current Muslim takeover of key world shipping lanes...
