Keep watch! Nations are coming to a boil around Israel
Egyptians protest against Mubarak's 30-year brutal reign; America's best option in Egypt is Mubarak

‘We’re living on a volcano,’ - Maj.- Gen. Ya’acov Amidror, former head of the IDF’s Research and Assessment Directorate: "The true struggle in Egypt was not between “Mubarak and pro-democracy elements, but between Mubarak and the Muslim Brotherhood,”"

Fresh protests erupt in Egypt - Middle East "Protests have erupted in cities across Egypt following Friday midday prayers, with angry demonstrators demanding an end to Hosni Mubarak's 30-year presidency. Tens of thousands of protesters have taken to the streets across the country, witnesses have said.

"Egypt's Muslims and Christians will go out to fight against corruption, unemployment and oppression and absence of freedom," a [Facebook] page with more than 70,000 signatories said."

Violent clashes erupt during protests in Egypt: "Police fired tear gas into crowds as violent clashes between authorities and anti-government protesters erupted Friday in the Egyptian cities of Cairo and Alexandria."

Analysis: Israel concerned if Egypt's Mubarak should fall: "“If Mubarak is toppled then Israel will be totally isolated in the region,” said Alon Liel, a former director-general of the Israeli Foreign Ministry and a former ambassador to Turkey."

Social Security fund will be drained by 2037 - Yahoo! News: "The $2.5 trillion surplus, however, has been borrowed over the years by the federal government and spent on other programs. In return, the Treasury Department has issued bonds to Social Security, guaranteeing repayment with interest."

This is what happens when flash-in-the-pan (i.e. here today, gone tomorrow) politicians run a benefit plan.

DEBKAfile, Mubarak's defense minister bids for US backing in Washington: "Tantawi also warned that the radical Muslim Brotherhood, which has stood aside from the opposition protests, was merely biding its time for the right moment to step in and take over. He asked the Obama administration for an urgent airlift of advanced riot control equipment."

This can't be good. Egypt is looking for the US to back its dictator. If the US doesn't, radical Islam could take over Egypt and become yet another enemy of Israel.
