US Army dis-invites Franklin Graham to National Day of Prayer
"Evangelist Franklin Graham's invitation to speak at a Pentagon prayer service has been rescinded because his comments about Islam were inappropriate, the Army said Thursday.

Graham, the son of famed evangelist Billy Graham, in 2001 described Islam as evil. More recently, he has said he finds Islam offensive and wants Muslims to know that Jesus Christ died for their sins." [Absolutely true, Mr. Graham! Good for you that you are preaching the truth while the majority on earth are either ignorant or blinded by 'political correctness']

Hysterically, the article goes on to quote Nihad Awad, of the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as saying:

Graham's invitation would have sent entirely the wrong message at a time when troops are stationed in Muslim nations. Promoting one's own religious beliefs is something to be defended and encouraged, but other faiths should not be attacked or misrepresented in the process.

Good point there Nihad. It's not like you see Muslims (following Mohammad's example by) attacking other faiths or people (?!?!?!?)

I am very angry about this however I expected it. We simply cannot disrespect the muslims. After all who do we have as President of the United States? A MUSLIM!!! It's going from bad to worse real quick. We even have the lady from Acorn saying this administration will be rounding up tea party folks and others who don't accept what this CLOWN in Washington DC says!! Sorry ok I will take a breath and carry on. Lord Lord help us.

I think we have a pretty good idea what Noah and Lot must have felt like just before the destruction of the ungodly. Our society has become almost completely corrupt, decrepit, and void of the knowledge of God. We are the enemy in this wayward world. We are in spiritual battles every day - I find that even in the local church.
Chin up, though - our Redeemer lives and is coming!

2 Peter 2:
7 But God also rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a righteous man who was sick of the shameful immorality of the wicked people around him. 8 Yes, Lot was a righteous man who was tormented in his soul by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day. 9 So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment.
