2013 will be no less interesting

Hillary Clinton in hospital amid speculation of plane accident in Iran
"NBC television’s medical correspondent Robert Bazell was skeptical about the blood clot being caused by an earlier concussion because, he said, it if were, it would not be treated with anti-coagulents. “So either it's not really related to the concussion and she’s got a blood clot in her leg or something, or there’s something else going on that we’re not being told.”"

Obama Yawns As Syria Uses Chemical Weapons, Crosses the ominous Red Line: "Rebel forces in Syria report that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is now using chemical weapons on them. Moreover, intelligence operatives from the West have confirmed those reports as well. But there has yet to be a peep out of the Obama administration over it."

Heating up!

Syrian leader Assad said to be fearful, as regime faces collapse
His official portrait still refers to Bashar al-Assad as “The Hope” of the Syrian nation, but signs are increasing that the man who presides over Syria’s embattled government has little of it left for himself.

Israel special forces operating in Syria; US preparing to join
Various Western, Arab and Israeli media reports have been claiming for over a month now that Israeli special forces are on the ground in Syria in an effort to keep tabs on its chemical weapons stockpile.

Those reports mesh well with news that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited neighboring Jordan this week to discuss with King Abdullah a possible air strike on the bulk of Syria's weapons of mass destruction. Such an air strike would require targeting groups to be on the ground...

On Sunday, the Jordan-based leader of one of the Syrian rebel groups said that after toppling Assad, Syria's new rulers will turn their guns on Israel.

"We tell Benjamin Netanyahu...get ready. The army of the Prophet Mohammad is coming your way," declared Abed Shihadeh, who added that after "taking Damascus" his group and its allies will "head for Tel Aviv."

Netanyahu visited Jordan with plans to destroy Syrian chemical weapons, report says | The Times of Israel
"In early December, Jeffrey Golderg reported in The Atlantic that Israel in the preceding two months had twice requested “permission” from Jordan to bomb Syria, but was denied the go-ahead. Mossad officials who traveled to Jordan to discuss the matter were told that Amman felt “the time was not right,” Goldberg reported."

Obama's second 'red line' has been crossed. Now what?

Syria Begins Using Chemical Weapons, Film and Witnesses
"Al-Jazeera reported on Monday morning that seven Syrian rebel fighters were killed and a number of others injured at their base in Homs by toxic gas inhalation. Officials at the base reported that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's forces sprayed the gas."

Obama's first "red line" threat was against Assad moving his chemical weapons - and they were moved. Then it was the use of chemical weapons on the "freedom fighters". Now it appears chemical weapons have been used, so where's the consequence of crossing Obama's second red line?

When's my tee time?

Why is the US sending $billions to Egypt's Muslim radicals?

Christianity 'close to extinction' in Middle East - Telegraph

Christianity 'close to extinction' in Middle East
"Christianity faces being wiped out of the “biblical heartlands” in the Middle East because of mounting persecution of worshippers, according to a new report."

Revelation 6:
When the Lamb broke the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of all who had been martyred for the word of God and for being faithful in their testimony. 10 They shouted to the Lord and said, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you judge the people who belong to this world and avenge our blood for what they have done to us?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them. And they were told to rest a little longer until the full number of their brothers and sisters—their fellow servants of Jesus who were to be martyred—had joined them.

When it comes to Syria, Russia sends missiles, mixed signals | Fox News
"When combined with growing fears that Iranian-backed Syria and its allied militia Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, who on Thursday officially confirmed to the UN they are fighting alongside Assad’s troops in Syria - may be preparing to use chemical weapons, the stakes are even deadlier."

If not December 21, 2012, when is the end?

Israel 'taking steps' to counter Syrian chemical weapons threat, Netanyahu says
"“We’re taking steps in order to prepare for the far-reaching changes that are commencing there,” Netanyahu said at the opening of the weekly cabinet meeting, alluding to recent assessments that President Bashar Assad’s days in power were numbered."

Israel is the time clock counting down the end of this age. She's gathered back into her land waiting for her Messiah (so am I). This is where it's going. If you can equate Assyria with today's Syria, I'd say these verses are particularly relevant to today. Forget your momentary troubles! Israel is back in the land! Now is the time to keep looking up!

Micah:

Marshal your troops now, city of troops,
for a siege is laid against us.
They will strike Israel’s ruler
on the cheek with a rod.
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
    from ancient times.”
Therefore Israel will be abandoned
until the time when she who is in labor bears a son,
and the rest of his brothers return
    to join the Israelites.
He will stand and shepherd his flock
in the strength of the Lord,
in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God.
And they will live securely, for then his greatness
will reach to the ends of the earth.
And he will be our peace
when the Assyrians invade our land
    and march through our fortresses.

We will raise against them seven shepherds,
    even eight commanders,
who will rule the land of Assyria with the sword,
the land of Nimrod with drawn sword.
He will deliver us from the Assyrians
    when they invade our land
    and march across our borders.

Destroyed Hezbollah Weapons Depot Reportedly Held Chemical Missiles

Hezb'allah had? (has?) chemical weapons
"Two days after a mysterious explosion at a Hezbollah weapons depot in southern Lebanon, the Kuwaiti website Al Jarida is reporting that Israel bombed the site because Syria had transferred missiles there that were capable of being equipped with chemical warheads. The missiles had been moved into Lebanon from Syria in the last several months and were being held inside warehouses owned by farmers in the area."

We're not at the end of the world yet, but we're getting close. It's only a matter of time before Israel gets engulfed in another Jihad war. The enemy is getting better equipped, but Israel has an ACE up its sleeve that it isn't even aware of - yet.

The Coming War Against Islam

2013: The year of Iran
" 2013 represents the moment of truth on Iran. The year the Iranians pass the point of no return in their drive to the bomb. Or the year, one way or another, they are dissuaded."

The world won't end tomorrow (December 21, 2012), but 2013 is looking like a good candidate.

Syria’s chemical arms match Israel’s nuclear arsenal: defected general

Syria’s chemical arms match Israel’s nuclear arsenal: defected general
"The Syrian regime has a large arsenal of chemical weapons, which matches up to Israel’s nuclear arsenal, the defected former head of Syria's chemical warfare program told Al Arabiya on Monday.

Major-General Adnan Sillu, who defected from the regime earlier this year, was party to top-levels talks about the use of chemical weapons on both rebel fighters and civilians.

Sillu, who once led the army’s chemical weapons training program, said in June that the main storage sites for mustard gas and nerve agents are supposed to be guarded by thousands of Syrian troops but that they would be easily overrun.

“Probably anyone from the Free Syrian Army or any Islamic extremist group could take them over,” he said."

Revelation 16 (my comments in parenthesis)
12The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates (which runs through the center of Babylon/Iraq), and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. 13Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon (Satan), out of the mouth of the beast (refers to the Islamic LBL beast re-introduced in Revelation 13:2; see Daniel chapter 7) and out of the mouth of the false prophet (biggest false prophet out there, with 1.3 billion + believers, is Mohammad)14They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world,to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.
15"Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed."
16Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

Joel Rosenberg has written another excellent article, addressing the Newtown, CT tragedy

Implosion update: The demons of violence are on the loose in America. But why? And where do we go from here?

All this is so painful to see, so heart-wrenching. I look at my own children — including my little 8 year old — and then look at all the grieving parents on TV and think, “There but the grace of God go I.” I’m praying for the Lord to comfort and heal all those traumatized by what happened in Newtown. But as I do I can’t help but think about the trendlines and the dark trajectory our nation is on. It’s not just “the economy, stupid.” We are, in many respects, in a moral and spiritual freefall in our country, and we are paying a terrible price...

Consider just the cultural war against Jesus and Christmas that has been waged just in the last few days:

Newtown, CT: Why?

World wonders about Adam Lanza's motive in Connecticut shooting - The Associated Press
"NEWTOWN, Conn. (AP) -- The massacre of 26 children and adults at a Connecticut elementary school elicited horror and soul-searching around the world even as it raised more basic questions about why the gunman, a 20-year-old described as brilliant but remote, would have been driven to such a crime and how he chose his victims."

Why? Disregard for the only God. Family breakdown; movies, video games, and internet promoting the glorification of violence and perverted filth; many parents (if you're lucky to have two, let alone one who's committed), completely ignorant, lazy or unwilling to raise decent, God-fearing, law abiding children. It is a ME-generation, as in - "ME FIRST - I am entitled to everything I want!"

I don't have to look far past my front door to see what's wrong with society. A weekend is greeted with about 5 lbs. of store flyers at the base of my front door this time of year, telling me what I need to fit in, or to "be complete"; liquor available in most stores, rampant drug abuse, sexual abuse, child abuse, relationship breakdown. Churches, who pretend to know the way to God, completely void of the Holy Spirit. Promoting teachings of men, not of God.

These things naturally occur in a Godless age. Under these conditions, what else do we expect to happen?

2 Timothy 3:
You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

From Bushehr to the Bomb

From Bushehr to the Bomb

Wall Street Journal
December 5, 2012

Last Sunday marked the 70th anniversary of the world's first controlled nuclear reaction, which took place under the bleachers of the old Stagg Field at the University of Chicago. Also last Sunday, the Journal reported that the U.S. had stepped up its spying on Iran's nuclear reactor at Bushehr after Iran had unexpectedly removed fuel rods containing between 22 and 220 pounds of weapons-grade plutonium.
The distance between civilian nuclear power and an atomic weapon, as the early nuclear pioneers understood, can be short. Now the Obama Administration is being forced to learn that lesson all over again.
For years, U.S. officials have insisted that the Russian-built reactor at Bushehr posed a negligible proliferation risk. Instead, they concentrated nearly all their attention on Iran's efforts to enrich uranium. At the same time, the U.S. bought Iran's argument that the country was within its legal rights to operate "peaceful" facilities such as Bushehr, never mind the question of why an oil-rich state would spend billions on a reactor it didn't need.
Far be it for us to suggest the world should be less alarmed by the strides Iran has made in enriching uranium—close to eight tons to reactor-grade level of 5%, along with 238 kilos to a near-bomb grade level of 20%, according to a report last month by the International Atomic Energy Agency. With some additional enrichment, those quantities suffice for probably six bombs.
But uranium is not the only route to a bomb. There's also plutonium, and Iran has long been at work on a plutonium-breeding heavy-water reactor in the city of Arak. The Iranians say the reactor is solely for research, yet IAEA inspectors have not been given access to the plant since August 2011.
Then there's Bushehr. Under the terms of Iran's agreement with Russia's State Atomic Power Corporation, or Rusatom, Iran is supposed to return all of the reactor's spent fuel rods to Russia for storage. Now it transpires that Iran removed the fuel rods in October, a mere two months after the reactor became fully operational. Iran claims the fuel rods have since been returned to the reactor core, though we are not aware of any independent corroboration of that claim.
The official reason for the transfer of the fuel was a safety test, and Rusatom has denied a report that the move was prompted by the discovery of loose bolts that could have caused a major accident. But as the Journal suggested in its story, the transfer could also have been a test run for the Iranians should they decide to reprocess those rods into weapons-grade plutonium. As many as 24 Nagasaki-type bombs could be produced with 220 pounds of plutonium.

So much, then, for the notion that the Bushehr reactor is "proliferation resistant," an idea that largely boils down to the fact that IAEA inspectors are routinely at the site. Yet legally the IAEA is only permitted to inspect Bushehr once every 90 days, and Iran has forbidden the agency from installing video cameras with near-real time surveillance capacity.
That means Iran could contrive an excuse to move the fuel rods without the agency knowing about it in time. And while Western intelligence agencies do not believe Iran has a reprocessing capability, experts tell us that the rapid extraction of weapons-usable plutonium from spent fuel rods is a straightforward process that can be performed in a fairly small (and easily secreted) space.

All of which goes to show that, contrary to Joe Biden's cavalier assurances during his debate with Paul Ryan that the U.S. would have adequate foreknowledge of any Iranian plans to build a bomb, U.S. intelligence on Iran's nuclear capabilities remains fragmentary at best. At the same time, Iran is increasing the number of routes it can take to race toward a bomb.
These columns have been warning of the proliferation risk posed by Bushehr since May 2002. As always with Iran's nuclear ambitions, the worst suspicions come true.

400 US troops to Turkey. 6 Patriot batteries in total

Pentagon to send missiles, 400 troops to Turkey
"The U.S. will send two batteries of Patriot missiles and 400 troops to Turkey as part of a NATO force meant to protect Turkish territory from potential Syrian missile attack, the Pentagon said Friday.

Germany and the Netherlands have already agreed to provide two batteries of the U.S.-built defense systems and send up to 400 German and 360 Dutch troops to man them, bringing the total number of Patriot batteries slated for Turkey to six."

I will never allow a single Israeli to live among us on Palestinian land." — Mahmoud Abbas, July 28, 2010, speaking to Egyptian media.

There has never been a civilization or a nation referred to as "Palestine" and the very notion of a "Palestinian Arab Nation" having ancient attachments to the Holy Land is complete hoax at best. There is not, nor has there ever been, a distinct "Palestinian" culture or language.

Further, there has never been a Palestinian state governed by Arab Palestinians in history, nor was there ever a serious Arab-Palestinian national movement until 1964. This was three years before the Arabs of "Palestine" lost the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and Gaza as a result of the 1967 six-day war (which the Arabs started). Even the so-called leader of the "Palestinian" people, Yassar Arafat, was an Egyptian! Israel first became a nation in 1312 B.C., 2,000 years before the rise of Islam.

The term "Palestine" came from the Roman Emperor Hadrian, in 135 A.D. He slaughtered nearly 600,000 Jews in nearly three years of severe persecutions. He attempted to root out Judaism which he saw as the cause of continuous rebellions, prohibited the Torah law and Hebrew calendar, and executed Judaic scholars. In an attempt to erase the memory of Judea, he renamed the province (Syria Palaestina) after the Philistines, Israel's most hated enemy.

It should be noted that the land of Israel was never without a Jewish presence! Also for over 3,300 years of history, Jerusalem has been a capital city for only the Jewish people.

The cities of Aroer will be deserted
and left to flocks, which will lie down,

Pro-Islamist Losing Grip on Republican Party

Pro-Islamist Losing Grip on Republican Party
Grover Norquist has venomous supporters
"Wolf mentioned Norquist’s “association and representation” of terrorist financier and vocal Hamas supporter Abdurahman Alamoudi and terrorist financier Sami Al-Arian."

“You can’t eat your cake and have it too”
If Grover Norquist is supported by terrorists, that would explain a lot. America has headed into a death spiral of excessive borrowing, borrowing 40% of its annual budget, and on top of those budgets, incurring trillion dollar deficits. Too much spending; too much borrowing; and too little tax revenue to support the binge. Grover Norquist's "no tax pledge" is not helping. This is equivalent to a fiscal EMP bomb. The terrorists (aka Islamists) are dismantling the US from within until it, and everything it stands for,  is destroyed.

Under this scenario, Islam plans to win: the US economy would take every other over-leveraged western economy down with it - and then what?

Gaza war leaves Iran sitting pretty—John Bolton
"Despite media concentration on last week’s cease-fire, the real focal point is still the invisible Middle Eastern struggle for strategic advantage.
