China May Shield N. Korea as Lee, U.S. Seek Action on Ship
"China hasn’t followed South Korea, Japan and the U.S. in blaming North Korea for the March 26 sinking of the Cheonan, which killed 46 sailors. Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun yesterday repeated a call for “restraint” by both sides and said China had no “firsthand information” on the sinking."

China urges peace, stability on Korean peninsula: "North Korean ally China on Tuesday called for restraint amid rising tensions on the Korean peninsula, but again declined to endorse Seoul’s claim that Pyongyang sunk one of its warships...

Mr. Jiang avoided any direct mention of the South’s claim that an international investigation has proved a North Korean torpedo split apart the navy ship Cheonan, killing 46 sailors."

Hey ET,
It is just breathtaking how fast the world is spinning out of control. Great postetial for huge conflicts in Afghanistan/Pakistan, North Korea/South Korea, Civil War in Thailand, Civil war in Jamaica, the undeclared US boarder with Mexican gangs, and of course the build-up for the war that will bring about the end of all wars Israel/Middle East.

That is just the WARS! Then there is the financial collapse that will bring about the one-world government and currency, impending famine due to crop failures and the poisonoing of the Gulf, and the other natural disasters that pop off on an almost daily basis.

I remember when we were discussing that there seemed to be a big disaster once a month, then once a week. We are well past the once a day point.

I have given up my confidence in the world and put my trust solely in the Lord's hands.

Yes, I definitely wouldn't put any faith in the world - it's a sinking ship.

I just read this headline on Bloomberg: China May Shield N. Korea as Lee, U.S. Seek Action on Ship

In other words China is going to stand in the way of any sanctions or actions on North Korea, just like they're against any serious action on Iran.

Of course, I'm most closely watching the war of wars around Israel. It sure looks like something is going to blow, maybe even this summer. Chemical scud attack? This next war will make the 2006 altercation look like child's play.
