Israel Defense Minister: We must prepare for an escalation
With Kassam rockets continuing to rain down on the western Negev, and with casualties from the IDF response continuing to rise, Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned on Thursday that the situation could be the beginning of a major escalation.

This is completely unrelated, but pretty cool. I love it when the "little guy" wins:

A rocket fired by Palestinian terrorists in the Gaza Strip is seen stuck in the ground where it landed, in Sderot, Wednesday, Feb. 27.

17 killed in IDF ops since Wednesday
The day after an estimated 50 rockets pummeled the western Negev and Ashkelon, killing a student at Sderot's Sapir Academic College, six armed Palestinians were killed early Wednesday morning in three IAF strikes in the Saja'iya and Zeitun neighborhoods of Gaza City.

The Danes re-printed the Mohammed cartoons.

Hockey shooter? That's $1 million and no tax taken off "windfall gains" here in Canada. So he gets the whole million.

That amount of money would make me stay home from my day job starting tomorrow - no question. Then I'd go do something much more interesting for a living.
