SAY WHAT!?
Barak: We think Iran’s nuclear program is much beyond the level of the Manhattan Project
In an interview for Newsweek by Lally Weymouth, the Israeli defense minister said: We think that they [the Iranians] are quite advanced… working on warheads for ground-to-ground missiles…We think that they are quite advanced, much beyond the level of the Manhattan Project [which developed the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II].”
The situation in LBL territory is screaming 'Gog & Magog/Armageddon' , and the world is sitting idly by, worrying about the downturn in the financial markets. Without Christ, that should be the very least of their worries.
The Lion-Bear-Leopard territory of Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 is calling the world to the final war today!
Revelation 16:
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great Euphrates River (the nerve center of America's battle against Islam), and it dried up so that the kings from the east could march their armies toward the west without hindrance. 13 And I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon (Satan), the beast (the Leopard, Bear,Lion beast of Revelation 13 and Daniel 7), and the false prophet (Mohammad is the false prophet of the abomination of desolation, aka the al Aqsa Mosque, sitting on Mount Moriah, "on a wing of the temple"-Daniel 9:27). 14 They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty. (The Day of the Lord is coming soon)
15
Daniel 9:
27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.
The al Aqsa mosque, unabashedly has inscriptions on its walls stating:
and this is straight out of the Quran - Sura 4, verses 171 and 172 (I shutter to even quote these verses):
The Quran (in red lettering, with my comments)
1John 4:
2This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
Summary:
- The true church of Christ and God's elect (the Jews) are facing their last enemy-Islam.
- Islam's Dome of the Rock (the al Aqsa mosque) is the abomination of desolation on the Holy of Holies. Abominations to the only God are written all over its walls.
- The Dome of the Rock is literally "on the wing" of the destroyed temples (Daniel 9:27)
- The Dome of the Rock is preventing Jews (Daniel's people) from worshiping and offering sacrifices on the site of the 1st and 2nd temples on Mount Moriah.
- Only Jesus Christ Himself will personally defeat Islam, with the glory of His coming.
Rejoice (and wake up and 'smell the coffee', if you haven't already! It's prophetic, and therefore no surprise, that so many are asleep in the last (Laodicean) church of Revelation 3?) fellow Christians because Christ is coming soon to end this final battle. Ahmadinejad has no idea what is about to hit him right between the eyes. Ahmadinejad can plan and scheme to obliterate God's elect, the Jews, from the face of the earth. But the re-gathered remnant of Jacob is now safe and flourishing under the watchful eyes of the Creator of all (somebody should tell Mr. Bush what is really going on!)
"Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!"

Hi Endtime- I posted this about three posts ago- maybe you didn't see it? Thoughts?
Hi Endtime- I had some questions about the 'Oral Torah' as well. One thing I found [I think it was on Yada Yehwah] was that John 1:1 is a quote from the Zorah, the same portion of the Oral Torah that Rabbi Kohen finds the details of the Biblical prophecies in. That gave it some credibility in my opinion. I've been meaning to e-mail the Rabbi with questions, but haven't so far.
One other thing that got my attention was the Gulf War prophecies. After we won GWII [fulfilling the 60 days]I could hardly sit thru anymore of Pres. Bushes speeches. It bothered me alot at the time, I thought maybe he had gotten a new speech writer or something. After reading this book it fell in place for me-the 'mission'was 'accomplished' according to Gods prophetic Word, and thats all the US was called to do. Again, just my opinion-I probably think to much.
It's great to have you back! Still praying for you when I wake up at 2-3am.
Also, I just learned that in anciennt societies the word 'rock' was a generic word for 'god'. so it follows that Dome of the Rock actually means Dome of the god.
Jamie
Sorry Jamie. I've been a little distracted lately to say the least.
I've been reading Rabbi Kohen's book in small fragments (at my son's hockey practices, a couple minutes before work, etc), so can you point out to me where/on what page it talks about the 60 days? I don't recall what it said about that. Thanks.
Thank you for your prayers. I will try to find some time today to hopefully finish the book, and I'll try and review where it talks about the 60 days.
...perhaps someone should tell Mr. Bush what? Something he doesn't already know??

I think he knows, Brother.
Hi Endtime- my mistake- its 90days, three months. found on page 181.
Jamie
Would like to make one minor correction. In the quote for the Dome of the Rock, it is usually quoted as "people of the book". While "people of the scriptures" works as well.
The groups Mohammed refers to here are Christians AND JEWS.
Regarding lightshine's post, the reason this one is called Dome of the Rock is because the rock that it encompasses is one of only two natural rock promontories on the temple mount. It is from this rock that it was fabled that Mohammed ascended into heaven on horseback.
Here's more on that rock: http://www.beholdthebeast.com/mathematical_precision_of_prophecy.htm#court_without
Also "...a spirit from Him...." is a denial that Jesus Christ IS come in the flesh. And that he was not risen in the flesh as he demonstrated to the apostles by having them touch Him.
John,
I always thought that in the context of Sura 4:171 "people of the book" refers only to Christians, because Christians are the only ones of the three major religions contending that Jesus is the Messiah and the Son of God.
Orthodox Jews are quite comfortable denying that Jesus is the Messiah...for now.
Anonymous at 9am,
What President Bush doesn't understand is that he is being used by God to bring about the desolation and destruction of ancient Babylon/Iraq. As the video you referenced shows, the Bush Administration went into Iraq on false pretenses - but God predicted this invasion thousands of years ago when the book of Isaiah was written.
Isaiah 13:1-10 - The destruction of Babylon leads us to The Day of the Lord when the sun and moon refuse to shine (verse 10).
If President Bush understood the gathering of the remnant of Israel that has and is taking place today, he would be much bolder in protecting and standing next to Israel, instead of pandering to the Saudi Sheiks and backing off Iran with the National Intelligence Estimate. But then the Bible also successfully predicted that in the end Israel will stand alone (Zechariah 12:1-3)
Jamie I'm not ignoring you, it's just that I'm only up to page 148. I will get back to you :)
Hey Endtime,
People of the Book includes us Christians as well as the Jews, some of whom remain soverignly blinded, and can't, or haven't been allowed to, see past the Old Testament. God Himself gave them their blindness. Some will remain blind to the Gospel until the fulness of the Gentiles comes in. They are still beloved by the Father.
Here is another example verse from the Quran where we are lumped together:
"The Jews call 'Uzair a son of God, and the Christians call Christ the Son of God. That is a saying from their mouth; (In this) they but imitate what the Unbelievers of old used to say. God's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (Surah 9.30)
Endtime, I believe the desolation of Jerusalem happened over the period from the Cross, until the early 1800s. First by the Romans, then finished by Muslims. by 1827 there were only about 550 people in the city.
Contrast that with a million Jews killed - in 70AD - and another 750,000 killed less than 70 years later.
"A History of the Jews" - Paul Johnson - page 321: "Between 1827 and 1839, largely through British efforts, the population of Jerusalem rose from 550 to 5,500 and in all Palestine it topped 10,000 - the real beginning of the Jewish return to the Promised Land. In 1838 Palmerston appointed the first western vice-consul in Jerusalem, W.T. Young, and told him 'to afford protection to the Jews generally'."
no problem, Endtime. You've got alot to keep up with.
Jamie
John,
I'm with you on the desolation of Jerusalem being in our past. Futurists see this as something upcoming, but I think the greening of the fig tree (Matthew 24:32)has started effective May 14, 1948 and Jehovah is once again watching over her.
Ezekiel 39:
25 "Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will now bring Jacob back from captivity [f] and will have compassion on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name. 26 They will forget their shame and all the unfaithfulness they showed toward me when they lived in safety in their land with no one to make them afraid. 27 When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will show myself holy through them in the sight of many nations. 28 Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind. 29 I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD."
Hey Endtime,
I'm sorry I failed to read your post carefully enough to see you were writing about the destruction of Babylon and not the desolation of Jerusalem, and answered to what I now see was an unrelated subject.
But regarding this chapter, I noticed: 17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them,...
Isn't this a historical pin? And indeed doesn't the old Babylon stand just as this chapter described - today and well before today? Consider the state of the hanging gardens etc.?
(I am writing purely off-the-cuff here and without the apologetic background that would seem required for this passage.)
John,
Isaiah 13 and related Jeremiah 50 speak to me about the immediate and near future. You’re absolutely right that Isaiah 13:17 does talk about the Medes taking over Babylon, but I think Isaiah is duplicit and also talks about today's complete desolation of Iraq/Babylon. Consider these verses:
4 Hear the noise on the mountains!
Listen, as the vast armies march!
It is the noise and shouting of many nations.
The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has called this army together.
5 They come from distant countries,
from beyond the farthest horizons.
They are the Lord’s weapons to carry out his anger.
With them he will destroy the whole land. (all of it will be utterly destroyed)
"noise and shouting of many nations...they come from
distant countries...the farthest horizons (i.e. it's not the Medes next door.)
This complete desolation of Babylon will happen just before the Day of the Lord, the Day of the Lord's wrath (see vs.6,9)
Notice vs.10 where the sun, moon and stars give no light and compare this to Joel 3:
Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes
in the valley of decision!
For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and moon will be darkened,
and the stars no longer shine.
16 The LORD will roar from Zion
and thunder from Jerusalem;
the earth and the sky will tremble.
But the LORD will be a refuge for his people,
a stronghold for the people of Israel.
This complete desolation of the kingdom of Babylon/Iraq, which soon will never again be inhabited (see
vs.19 and 20) precedes the Day of the Lord.
This complete desolation obviously hasn't happened yet because people still live in the region of ancient
Babylon, but it will lie completely barren like Sodom and Gomorrah (vs. 19) just before (or when) the Lord returns.
The Lord returns when the sun, moon and stars no longer shine = compare Isaiah 13:9-10 to Matthew 24:29-30.
That's all I have time for tonight, but I'd also recommend checking out Jeremiah 50 because it talks about the same future punishment of Babylon (I don't have time to cover it tonight)...but Jeremiah 50:1-5 is amazing: it talks about the destruction of Babylon coinciding with Israel's reconciliation to God:
4 "In those days, at that time,"
declares the LORD,
"the people of Israel and the people of Judah together
will go in tears to seek the LORD their God.
5 They will ask the way to Zion
and turn their faces toward it.
They will come and bind themselves to the LORD
in an everlasting covenant
that will not be forgotten.
Regarding the first passage discussed, here is a picture of ancient Babylon today: http://www.flickr.com/photos/7802617@N08/454023169/
John,
That picture is of Babylon the city, which is indeed laying desolate. But I think that Isaiah 13 is talking about the whole region/country:
Isaiah 13:5
5 They come from faraway lands, from the ends of the heavens— the LORD and the weapons of his wrath—to destroy the whole country.
AS well, as lightshine and I have been talking about in the above discussion, there's a book by Rabbi Menachem Kohen called "Prophecies for the era of Muslim terror" where the author points to Isaiah 21 as also speaking about today's war in Iraq/Babylonia. Isaiah 21:1 says:
1. The harsh prophecy of the western desert; like tempests in an arid land, to pass, coming from the desert, from an awesome land.
The Rabbi says the awesome land is the USA, and that 'tempests in an arid land' is the same thing as a desert storm. Desert Storm was the name given to the first Iraq War
The first war against Iran ended on March 3, 1991 which corresponds to the 12th of Adar on the Levitical calendar.
The second war against Iran by George W. Bush started on March 20, 2003 which corresponds to the 12th of Adar.
The first war ended on the same Levitical day that the second war started. Kind of like the war declared by George W. Bush was a continuation of the first war.
According to the author, the total duration of the 1st and 2nd wars was 90 days, which is exactly how long the 'Oral Torah' says that the war will last, that is 3 months in Zohar II, 32a.
Lightshine and I are trying to verify this Zohar II, 32a reference to see if it actually says '3 months'. If it does, then the wars against Iraq that first ended and then started on the 14th of Adar is the desolation of Babylon which Isaiah 13, Isaiah 21, and Jeremiah 50 talk about. That makes today's American war against Iraq incredibly significant, since this war will then lead us directly into the Day of the Lord where the sun, moon and stars refuse to shine as per Isaiah 13.
We live in an incredible age.
17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them,...
As in MEDES
Try a good conservative Bible handbook like Haley's.
We do indeed live in an incredible age. The last on this earth as mankind has known it.
PPS regarding the sun, moon and stars, I believe this is a reference to the "falling away" or apostasy that we have been experiencing.
consider the terms:
Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; ....
So what is the Sun/son?
What are the stars?
What are stars? Revelation 1:20 ..... The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches:
Then 2 Thess: ....unless there come a "falling away" first... (apostasy in the Greek)
Then look at the Olivet Discourse:
Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Then look to the sixth seal:
Revelation 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
Isaiah 24:23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
All in the same spot chronologically to the passages!
