Russian officials yesterday called for patience, insisting Iran could still clinch a deal with the international community in the next few weeks. They pointed to other parts of the IAEA report showing Tehran had been cooperating with the agency's inspectors on other nuclear issues. Against the fraught backdrop, a meeting of senior officials from the UN security council's five permanent members and Germany to decide on sanctions, planned for Monday, was put off after the Chinese delegation said it could not attend.

Putin is ever the obstructionist, and apparently China has declared "national hair wash day" for next Monday and can't make the somewhat crucial security council meeting (??) This isn't looking good, folks. At least not for the humanist who wants to preserve "mother earth" forever.

I've been echoing Dr. Skolfield repeatedly on this site, that the LBL Beast of Islam in the Middle East is slowly, but surely drawing the world to a last war - also known as Armageddon. Yes, I know this doesn't fit well with today's 'Laodicean church eschatology', but you gotta remember, Christ doesn't say flattering things about the last church in Rev 3!

Revelation 16 [my comments; emphasis mine]:
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great Euphrates River [goes right through Iraq, Syria, and Turkey and that's no coincidence. ], and it dried up so that the kings from the east could march their armies toward the west without hindrance. 13 And I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon [Satan], the [Rev 13:2 LBL] beast, and the false prophet [Mohammad. Who else has 1.3 billion people saying (screaming) that Jesus was just a human prophet of Allah? Who else has an abomination of desolation on Mount Moriah, the Temple Mount, saying Jesus is not the Son of God?]. 14 They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.

15 “Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! [Christ comes back here and no sooner, and not for a 'third time'] Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed.”

16 And the demonic spirits gathered all the rulers and their armies to a place with the Hebrew name Armageddon.


Titus 2:

11 For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. 12 And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, 13 while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. 14 He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.

15 You must teach these things and encourage the believers to do them. You have the authority to correct them when necessary, so don’t let anyone disregard what you say.
