Concern over safety of Pakistan's nukes
WASHINGTON is increasing alarmed that Pakistan's nuclear arsenal could fall into the hands of Islamic militants, as the political crisis there drags on.
Islamabad, Washington's key ally in the fight against al-Qaeda and Taliban militants, is believed to have about 50 nuclear-armed weapons or warheads, an arsenal it began assembling after successfully carrying out its first nuclear tests in May 1998.

There is no evidence that any of the weapons, said to be spread out in various locations around the country, are at risk [... but you never know. Stranger things have happened]

Off topic some..
remember we talked about the US dollar having some value issues here lately?
Check out DrudgeReport if you can, sometime soon before it changes.
Dow took a nosedive; "concern about banks" etc.
I think the sub-prime mortgage crisis is worse than governments and banks admit publicly. Plus China is talking about dumping U.S. dollars, plus oil is at an all time high - all things that are going to hit the U.S. economy (and Canada's)hard (Just like Bernanke said yesterday).
I saw the report on Drudge, that's why I've divested from the stock market about a month ago.
