Israeli forces caught up in Al Qaeda’s complex toils in both Golan and Gaza
DEBKAfile. The Syrian army, helped by Iran and Hizballah, is winning and the rebel side crumbling. However, integrated in the rebel contingents fighting for Quneitra, with US, Israeli and Jordanian backing, are Al Qaeda’s Nusra Front fighters and its Sinai arm, Ansar Beit Al-Madis, which works hand in glove with Israel’s foe, the Palestinian Hamas. The reason the Obama'nation is dithering forever over whether to bomb ISIS in Syria is because he can no longer tell the difference between friend or foe. The only foe the Administration agrees on is Israel, while all those Jihadi's? That's all gray area for the Islamist Hussein Obama.
