Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad should not be allowed to address the UN General Assembly next week, but instead should be greeted "with an indictment under the Genocide Convention," Republican presidential contender Mitt Romney said yesterday.

The extent of the world superpowers' defeat is reflected in the extent to which their ideology and reasoning have failed... 600 Iranian missiles said to be pointed at targets in Israel
Six hundred Iranian Shihab-3 missiles are pointed at targets throughout Israel, and will be launched if either Iran or Syria are attacked, an Iranian website affiliated with the regime reported on Monday.

Ahmadinejad makes me laugh! If he thinks he can rile against the God of Israel - he's got nothing short of utter destruction coming. I am a bit surprised that Ahmadinejad isn't threatening Israel with 666 missiles, though.

IDF operating in southern Gaza

It would be infinitely and eternally better for them if they would recognize and humble themselves before Jehovah. I thank God that I can be counted as a wild branch in the Jewish olive tree (Romans 11:17-18) - because in the soon coming end of this age, Israel will be absolutely victorious.

The Kuwaiti paper also reported that the Syrian army has begun drafting reservists from the armed corps, missile corps and anti-aircraft units, and quoted "sources in the know" who said the draft was a response to Israel raising its level of readiness in the north.

U.S. warned N. Korea not to help Syria with nukes

DEBKAfile Reports: Two US carrier-strike groups are bound for Persian Gulf region, bringing number back to three Our sources note that with their arrival, three American naval, air and marine forces will again confront Iranian shores at a time of crisis in the military and civilian leadership of Iran - signaled by the abrupt change of Revolutionary Guards Corps commanders, rising Israel-Syrian tensions and a troubled situation in Lebanon.

So, if this is true, Debkafile is reporting 4 US aircraft carriers in the region: 3 opposite the shores of Iran in the Persian Gulf, and 1 (the USS Kearsarge Expeditionary Strike Group) off the shores of Lebanon. So let me get this straight:

• Germany doesn't support any more UN sanctions on Iran;
• Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards are attacking the US in Iraq;
• Syria and Israel are about to (or are) at war over the Golan. Israel just completed an airstike against Syria - possibly against a North Korean sponsored nuclear facility of some sort;
• Hamas is firing qassam missiles at Israel from Gaza, and has re-armed to the teeth with Iranian weapons.
• Hezb'allah has re-armed after last summer's war with Israel with Iranian/Syrian/Russian/Chinese weapons.
• The US is reviewing "carpet-bombing" scenarios against Iran, and with three carrier strike groups off Iran's shores, I don't doubt they could do an efficient job of it. But there's a small problem with annihilating Iran:
• Iran has literally billions of dollars in contracts in nuclear and oil with Russia and China respectively. I'm not a trade expert, but they won't like it too much if the US obliterates their major trading partner.
• It should also be mentioned here that Russia's Putin is acting like a Czar, and China has massively increased spending on its military.

• Am I wrong in saying Zechariah 12 and Joel 3 (etc) are here, and this age is about to end...and Christ is about to come for his elect (Matthew 24:31) , to restore all of Israel, and to end all this nonsense?
