Lavrov: Russia will honor its S-300 missile contract with Damascus. Two Russian warships head for Syria: "Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Thursday, June 20, that Moscow will honor its controversial contract to deliver S-300 air defense missile systems to Syria. He spoke the day after the announcement that two warships carrying 600 Russian marines were heading for Syria"
Operation Eager Lion has concluded in Jordan, an exercise which brought together 8,000 troops from 19 European and Arab countries, including F-16's and Patriot missile batteries all within easy distance to Syria's border. It's already been reported that equipment and troops from this exercise will be staying behind in Jordan. This coupled with the news that Russia is boosting its military capabilities on the Syrian side, PLUS Russia has reiterated that it will follow through with the delivery of S-300 missile systems for al-Assad and his army.
One small spark and the military buildup between Russia, Syria, Iran, Hezb'allah, and the US and the West will ignite the whole region north of Israel. Would the delivery of Russia's S-300 not ignite the whole region? The S-300 is a game-changer weapon which Israel cannot allow to become operational on its border, whether or not it is manned by Russian troops.
"Miraculously" a large number of international troops are right at Israel's borders. This is all about Israel and the end of this age afterall. This is very much a spiritual war and it may well become the last world war. We've heard about all this before.
Ezekiel 38:
7 “Get ready; be prepared! Keep all the armies around you mobilized, and take command of them. 8 A long time from now you will be called into action. In the distant future you will swoop down on the land of Israel, which will be enjoying peace after recovering from war and after its people have returned from many lands to the mountains of Israel. 9 You and all your allies—a vast and awesome army—will roll down on them like a storm and cover the land like a cloud.
Joel 3:
3 “At the time of those events,” says the Lord,
“when I restore the prosperity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will gather the armies of the world
into the valley of Jehoshaphat.
There I will judge them
for harming my people, my special possession,
for scattering my people among the nations,
and for dividing up my land.
Isaiah 14:
But the Lord will have mercy on the descendants of Jacob. He will choose Israel as his special people once again. He will bring them back to settle once again in their own land. And people from many different nations will come and join them there and unite with the people of Israel...
24 The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has sworn this oath:
“It will all happen as I have planned.
It will be as I have decided.
25 I will break the Assyrians when they are in Israel;
I will trample them on my mountains.
My people will no longer be their slaves
nor bow down under their heavy loads.
26 I have a plan for the whole earth,
a hand of judgment upon all the nations.
27 The Lord of Heaven’s Armies has spoken—
who can change his plans?
When his hand is raised,
who can stop him?”
It will be as I have decided.
25 I will break the Assyrians when they are in Israel;
