Been reading the J'Post
(those Jews are just so darn smart. God love 'em. I love 'em.)

Obama's green light to Israel to attack Iran
Arctic winds are blowing into Jerusalem from Washington these days. As Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's May 18 visit to Washington fast approaches, the Obama administration is ratcheting up its anti-Israel rhetoric and working feverishly to force Israel into a corner.

Pope expresses 'deep respect' for Islam
Yes, let's tell them we have deep respect for Muslim terror, denial of women's rights, murder, mayhem, and their Quran, which tells them to subvert Jews and Christians by whatever means. If we don't tell them we respect them, they'll kill us (sooner rather than later).

Fight those who believe not in God nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by God and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
The Quran, Surah 9:29

The Vatican's continuing Jewish problem
As Pope Benedict makes his historic visit to Israel, several Cardinals, Bishops and priests continue to perpetuate the Church's long history of anti-Semitism...

Cardinal Oscar Andres Rodriguez Meridiaga, who is the archbishop of Tegucigalpa, Honduras, has been telling anyone who is willing to listen that "the Jews" are to blame for the scandal surrounding the sexual misconduct of priests toward young parishioners! (?)

The "infallable" Pope in the Holy Land: the issues
In the 1960s it reversed its centuries-old policy of blaming the Jews for the death of Jesus and altered a prayer used on Good Friday which called for the conversion of Jews and described them as "faithless" - sometimes translated as "treacherous".

Romans 11:
25 I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters, so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. Some of the people of Israel have hard hearts, but this will last only until the full number of Gentiles comes to Christ. 26 And so all Israel will be saved. As the Scriptures say,

“The one who rescues will come from Jerusalem,
and he will turn Israel away from ungodliness.
27 And this is my covenant with them,
that I will take away their sins.”

German official: Lieberman comments 'far from encouraging'
Germany's top diplomatic official urged Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman Thursday to adopt a two-state plan as the basis for peace in the Middle East and the "sole path to peace and security."

Lieberman talked about a "peace industry," which to date had achieved little but wasted money..."All this [Lieberman's attitude] is far from encouraging," said former German minister of state for foreign affairs, Werner Hoyer.
