While the world is ignorantly talking about peace, the Lord has the last word

I love the quote from John Hagee in the last link:

The Reverend John Hagee, who founded Christians United for Israel, was informed of the letter and read most of it. He responded: "Bible-believing evangelicals will scoff at that message."

"Christians United for Israel is opposed to America pressuring Israel to give up more land to anyone for any reason," Hagee said.

"What has the policy of appeasement ever produced for Israel that was beneficial?" he added.

"God gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob a covenant in the Book of Genesis for the land of Israel that is eternal and unbreakable, and that covenant is still intact," he said. "The Palestinian people have never owned the land of Israel, never existed as an autonomous society. There is no Palestinian language. There is no Palestinian currency. And to say that Palestinians have a right to that land historically is an historical fraud."

the Lord says:

4 "I will watch quietly from my dwelling place—
as quietly as the heat rises on a summer day,
or as the morning dew forms during the harvest.”
5 Even before you begin your attack,
while your plans are ripening like grapes,
the Lord will cut off your new growth with pruning shears.
He will snip off and discard your spreading branches.
6 Your mighty army will be left dead in the fields
for the mountain vultures and wild animals.
The vultures will tear at the corpses all summer.
The wild animals will gnaw at the bones all winter.

Isaiah 18:4b-6 [NLV]

Let's see, on the one hand, we have people who want peace. On the other hand, we have hatemongers like Hagee who want to kill everyone who doesn't follow his demented viewpoint.

If Hagee was a hate monger, he'd shut up and say nothing to those who are perishing.

Anyone right now has a chance to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, but those who scoff at and reject Christ are destined for an eternity in hell. Those who don't believe what the Bible says are destined for an eternity in hell.

I'm pretty sure that message is consistent with what Hagee says. That's entirely consistent with what the Bible says.

Isaiah 29:
16 How foolish can you be?
He is the Potter, and he is certainly greater than you, the clay!
Should the created thing say of the one who made it,
“He didn’t make me”?
Does a jar ever say,
“The potter who made me is stupid”?

17 Soon—and it will not be very long—
the forests of Lebanon will become a fertile field,
and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops.
18 In that day the deaf will hear words read from a book,
and the blind will see through the gloom and darkness.
19 The humble will be filled with fresh joy from the Lord.
The poor will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
20 The scoffer will be gone,
the arrogant will disappear,
and those who plot evil will be killed.
21 Those who convict the innocent
by their false testimony will disappear.
A similar fate awaits those who use trickery to pervert justice
and who tell lies to destroy the innocent.
