Israel braces for July war with up to five enemies
Israeli military intelligence has projected that a major attack could come from any of five adversaries in the Middle East. Officials said such a strike could spark a war as early as July 2007.

Iranian forces crossed Iraqi border: report
Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces have been spotted by British troops crossing the border into southern Iraq, The Sun tabloid reported on Tuesday. An unidentified intelligence source told the tabloid: "It is an extremely alarming development and raises the stakes considerably. In effect, it means we are in a full on war with Iran -- but nobody has officially declared it."

The invitation was linked to a recent Iranian offer to stop stonewalling the agency in its probe of more than two decades of Iranian nuclear activities, which were clandestine until 2002 when they were revealed by a dissident group... A European diplomat said the decision to invite an IAEA delegation was reached at those talks and that Larijani had asked for 120 days to clear up ambiguities -- a span that Solana rejected as too long.

Why does Larijani need 120 days to answer for past clandestine activities, when he could do so in one afternoon? Put bluntly - something stinks.
