Dr. Abdullah Badr—an Egyptian Muslim scholar, Al Azhar graduate, and professor of Islamic exegesis, who spent 10 years in prison under Mubarak, but, along with any number of Islamic terrorists and agitators, was released under Morsi—recently gave an excellent summation of the second half of the highly divisive Muslim doctrine ofwala’ wa bara’ (or, “Love and Hate”)—namely, that the true Muslim should love and help fellow Muslims, while hating and being disgusted by non-Muslims.

This video was made during a conference last week where Badr explained how he is so “disgusted” by Christians, to the point that, if a Christian were to touch his cup, he would not drink from it, explaining that it’s “not a matter of piety but digest. I get grossed out. Get that? Disgust. I get grossed out, man, I cannot stand their smell or … I don’t like them. It’s my choice. And they gross me out – their smell, their look, everything. I feel disgusted, disgusted.”

Kim Jong Jr. is making a lot of noise threatening to annihilate the US, which seems absolutely crazy. Another country equal to this craziness is North Korea's ally Iran and its leader (until next June) Ahmadinejad. If these two countries are given enough time they could become a very credible threat to world peace. They may soon be able to detonate a nuke on US territory (or perhaps worse - above US territory in an EMP attack), but even if not nuclear, a conventional attack on Israel or conventional Hezb'allah  attacks within the US would quickly change the fragile peace we enjoy today. Imagine what would happen to world peace if a chemical weapon from Syria landed in a populated area of Israel.

Don't be lulled to sleep like most of the world; what we are seeing in Iran, Syria, Egypt, Libya and even N. Korea is very significant. It only takes a spark to create a raging fire. We are approaching the end of this age.

Yesterday Bibi and Barack were joking around about 'red lines', referring to Bibi drawing the red line on Iran's nuclear program at the UN last fall. Now, there is evidence that Iran is enriching to 40% and pursuing nuclear warheads. Are Bibi and Barack as clueless as they appear to be in public, or are they pretending to be ignorant of what's going on in Persia? I think they are merely playing dumb in order to keep their voters in the dark, and so avoiding action to do something about it. Just like Syria's use of chemical weapons was the definitive 'red line' for Obama a couple months ago (or weeks ago?), that 'red line' too has been re-drawn to avoid a confrontation with the Syria-Iran-Russia-China alliance.

The other, less likely alternative is that we will wake up any day now to news that Israel and the US have begun hundreds of bombing sorties on Iran's suspected nuclear sites.

 Regardless, one of these days some party in this stand-off will crack and we'll be right into a major conflagration - probably nuclear, possibly marking the end of the age.
